Fun Question: What to Wear to Your Own Baby Shower.

I'd wear a cute, comfy maternity dress and comfy heels or chic flip flops if you're swollen-remember, people might be taking pics of you opening gifts. Why not?

I had mine at a friend's house and I dressed up in a dress and heels. I felt like a beached whale at that point and the dress and heels made me feel pretty. I say if you're comfortable in a dress and heels, go for it :)

Depends on where it is. If it's in someone else's home, I'd go casual. If it's out at a restaurant, I'd dress up. I didn't have the option since mine was a surprise, but it was at my sister's house and I was dressed casually.

Dress, heels, hair and makeup to both showers!

There will be tons of pictures and let's be honest... it's all about you so wear whatever will make you feel beautiful and glowy. Congratulations!

I think you should be comfortable but definitely do the hair and makeup! Lots of pics will be taken and you want to look fabulous!!! LOL

I am the same way. I love dresses and heels but I wasn't able to wear heels during my pregnancy because of how swollen my feet were but if you can pull it off I would do the heels and dress. At least a dress. Just because your pregnant doesn't mean you can't look fly:) Have fun!

If you are a girl to the 'nine's' then who says not to be a pregnant woman or mom to the nines! Do it! Do it! If you want to dress up in heels and all do it, if you want to dress more comfortably do so, but still look nice and made up. You wouldnt want to give others anything to criticize lol Go for it, imagine how great you will feel & look! I wish there were more pregnant woman and moms that still cared about their apperance. I dont understand why people think because its at a house it has to be casual. I have hosted many parties/showers and they have all been very dressy. I cant stand when guest show up in jeans, just rude. You can wear jean anytime...
P.S. If you want to pamper yourself extra that day I do hair & makeup and am only 20 minutes from you :)

I wore jeans and a nice dress up top with dress boots. It was at a friend's house. My other friend had hers at a nice restaurant and wore a sweater dress with knee high boots.

Wear something that makes you feel great. You'll look at those pictures forever, so be "you".

My outfit was typical me, but for some reason I got weird with the hair and tried "a new look". SUCH a bad idea.

halter top sun dress. Casual in cotton but cute. No shoes (it was at my house).

depends on the theme of the party... but being simple is the best but you have to be glamorous still....
