I need some advice on how to lose my baby fat after a c-section. Lately I haven't had the motivation. After dealing with my 13-month old son I'm tired and burnt out. Do anyone know any good dietary supplements that can help me get going???

What can I do next?

I didn't have a c-section but still had trouble getting motivated to loose the baby weight. I go walking about 3 times a week and it really seems to help. I have a 1 year old little girl and she likes getting out and seeing everything. Sometimes we even just take a walk down to the park and she really enjoys that. If you want to go walking let me know.

YOu've come to the right place my dear. I work for an international wellness company and we happen to offer what I would consider some of the best vitamins and supliments on the martket, and heres the best part.. They come with a money back garentee, try them for 60 days and if your not feeling better call them up and get your money back, HOW SWEET IS THAT.

check out my site and then I woulds love to talk to you more about it, http://wisemommy.fourpointwellness.com

I had really bad energy and depresion problems when I first started with the compnay and I took the challenge, and I felt amazing , not all spun up like I was on drugs either, there are no stimulants or anything like that just plain good health. We have won awards an have tons of patens as well. LOL I could go on and on.

Any way I best info is to stay away from over the counter vitamins. Your body will not absorb the minerals even if it can break down the vitamin at all. Waste treatment plants #1 system cloggers are undigested vitamins.... Hows that for flushing your money down the tubes.
OK enough you probabley weren't looking for all that.

Hope to talk to you soon,
H.

Diet pills don't work. You have to eat right and exercise! I was once 310 pounds and was a size 28. I'm now a 14 and only have 50 pounds to go. My last weight loss was 105 pounds in a year... no pills... no surgeries! Check out this program: Body for Life by Bill Phillips. www.bodyforlife.com.

It took me ten months after my c-section to even consider trying to lose the weight. I was convinced I would lose it right away. I think the surgery had a lot to do with my lack of motivation to excersice. At first I didn't want to hurt myself, then I just became unmotivated. A co-worker gave me 10 simple stomach excercises to do and within two weeks I dropped two pant sizes. (I'm not exaggerating) You can do these for ten minutes a night and you will flatten your stomach in an amazingly short period of time. No pills/supplements,ect needed. All you need is an exercise ball and ten minutes of floor time that your baby will LOVE to be a part of. Let me know if you are interested and I can email you the excersices. My email address is ____@____.com.

Hi R.. You know, joining a gym would be a good idea. You can escape for awhile, and make yourself feel good. There is also pilates/yoga wich I personally find VERY invegerating. I think that is the best excersise out there.
As for dietary supplements, there is one made JUST for women trying to lose baby fat. It's called Everslim, and I know a couple mothers who have taken it and swear by it. It doesn't have the "I just drank a thousand cups of coffee feel." You can get it at Wal-Mart or GNC stores.
I hope this helps. Good luck!! Best Wishes, T.

I have now had two C-sections (my youngest is 9 months old) and it is hard to get rid of that belly flab. I was exhausted all the time the first 5 or so months. About 4 months ago I started taking a supplement called Vitalert (you can get it at Costco and it is very inexpensive). I noticed a difference right away and it has also helped me lose weight by curbing my appetite. They do have guarana in them (which is an herbal stimulant similar to caffeine, so if you are really sensitive to caffeine they may not be for you. For me, they last longer than a cup of coffee and they have all your vitamins and minerals that you need for the day.
I also recently started going back to the gym and I have been leaving my kids at that daycare at the YMCA- my energy has really peaked since I started doing that. Sometimes, when you are so exhausted it is the last thing that you want to do but it really helps with the tiredness.

Good luck to you!

Hi R.,
When I had my last son it was C-Section and I was 30. I didn't use any supplements but after I healed to the point of not tearing open I got up every morning and did 10 sit ups to start. After I was done with those I ate some oatmeal because its a good energy booster. When I went to work I parked as far from the entrance I could get and walked at least a 1/4 mile all the while holding in my tummy. It is hard at first but shortly you will get used to it and it will become habit. At lunch I ate salads or something high in protein, and ate whatever I wanted for dinner.Good Luck!!!!

First of all, I'm so very sorry you had a c-section. It's often ver hard to lose the belly fat after one, because all of the muscles were severed during surgery. I'm 3 years post c-section ( But 16 mos post VBAC!! :) ) and I've never been able to lose it fully. Dietary supplements aren't going to do a whole lot. My suggestion would be to make sure that you're eating healthy, drinking plenty of water, and get plenty of exercise. Swimming is an excellent way to tone total body.

Good luck!

I gained a lot of weight with my pregnancy - I quit weighing in after 240... anyway - some things may help... Isagenix helped me a bit - I did it a few times... but use anything with care... after looking at the list of ingredients and realizing I really had no idea of what I was really doing to my body I just stuck with good eating habits and moderate excercise... It came off slow - slow is good though... stays off and everything has time to adjust... DON'T GET FRUSTRATED - JUST STICK TO IT...was a size 22 now a 12 -10 ... Patience - it will help you with your goals and your child... love and light.

Hi R.,

5 years ago I joined Weight Watchers. In one year, I lost 60 pounds. By attending the meetings, eating the right foods and simply walking in my neighborhood, I have managed to keep it off for the last 4 years. I also went down 10 dress sizes. 2 1/2 years ago I had my daughter and kept the weight off. I am now 6 1/2 months pregnant and feel great. Basically, the meetings motivate and inspire you to keep the weight off. The other members in the meeting give tips, advice, etc. Weighing in every week keeps you accountable. They have Mommy & Me meetings whereas you can take your children to the meeting without worrying if they are going to be too noisy. They have toys play with, and you get to enjoy they meeting. They also offer a plan for nursing moms.

Prior, I had tried everything else and this was the only thing that worked because it is not about being on a diet but more about changing your lifestyle. It absolutely changed my life and now inturn I am teaching my daughter how to eat healthy too.

I hope this helps.

Hi R. - I would like to recommend a winning combination (with a potentially very profitable business and tax benefits as well): XANGO. I started drinking XanGo (1 oz/3 times daily) and started taking their 3SIXTY5 whole food nutrition vitamin and mineral supplements in June of this year and I have more engery, sleep better, and have actually started exercising for the first time in five years because of the increased energy! I have a mom-owned biz: www.referralco-op.com and www.findgreenhere.com where you can do your own research. Be well!

Also, for the mama-tummy, I would recommend you visit www.sanjosebodywraps - talk to Emma and if you tell her V. referred you, you will receive a 20% discount on wrap). I notice skin toning in the abdominal area and midsection, with increased firmness, and again, more energy (from the minerals used in wrap). This helps to "jumpstart" your routine and I have started doing at home and the wraps and can feel my core becoming stronger and firmer. I am 53, so if I can do you can do it! With a 1-year-old, I would recommend that you do Pilates, crunches and leg-lifts WHILE you are with him, playing so that you make your execise time along with his play time (on the floor). I used to do that in the 80s when I was raising my kids and it worked perfectly! I know you will find the solutions you are looking for and wish you and your family many blessings! V. G. :o)

There really is no magic pill to get you motivated unfortunately. Any of those pills you see on tv come with some sort of health risk. I know from experience. I have had two c-sections and my oldest is 10. My oldest has a congenital heart defect and I have spent the majority of those 10 years taking care of him and putting myself on the backburner. My husband who weighed 350 pounds has lost 160 pounds. It took his doctor to tell him this, "Do you love your children? Then do it for your children so you can be there for them. Do you want to see your children get married? Then do it for your children. My husband at one time was addicted heavily to Phen-Phen. It was like he was on crack. So I am really not an advocate for any type of diet pill. He was also highly addicted to fat burners and all it does is harm your heart and your kidneys as it has my husband. But what he did was start eating healthier, and started going to the gym. It took him 2 1/2 years to lose it but he is so much healthier and stronger. As with me, I have about 50 pounds to lose, I have started weight watchers and hired a personal trainer at a gym for a couple of sessions to help me learn what different types of exercises would help me lose the weight. Those couple of sessions really taught me how to train properly. Even if you do try some sort of fat loss product, you still have to eat very healthy and exercise. It all starts with you and you wanting to make that lifestyle change. Because that is what it truly is a lifestyle change. Hope this helps.

I can give you the most sound advice any one will ever give you. But it is up to you to realize the reason why to live a lifestyle this way.....

No more sugar. completely. It's disgusting how much sugar americans ingest. and this is probably what is making you not loose the weight naturally. And take a few yoga classes a week. Cut down on dairy. Focus on cleansing your system. green juices. Imagine everything breaking up in your system and feeling free and light and pure. Everything you put in your body is what makes up your exterior. feed it delicious colors. And no tofu or soy either. www.Dr.Mercola.com. subcribe to this newsletter and learn about whats really going on.

I promise you If you take this advice, Whether you understand it or not. Your golden. The easiest way to be healthy and fit is to realize the reason why you eat and do the things that you do. Be aware...

Blessings!

I know it is hard to get motivated. I try and do things with my kids to exercise. We go walking together in the stroller and things like that. They love the stroller and it's a good workout. I walk for about 30 to 40 minutes a few times a week. It's nice because we get to spend time together. I gained over 60lbs with my first and lost it and then some in about 3 months. I just had another baby about 3 weeks ago and have lost all but 10 lbs. Just be motivated to lose the weight and you can do it. I know it's hard to fit in an exercise routine, but find a way to involve your son.

Hello R.,

Well, after my twins were born in Nov 2005 and my Csection too, I began walking. But, I did most of my walking in the Spring/Summertime. If the weather was nice in the Winter, I do walk around my neighborhood. I mean, I walk with my twins in their stroller. It is nice for all of us to get out of the house and exercise...

They walk now. Since they turned 1 in November. But I do not let them walk when I walk. They would be all over the place. So, I still walk with them in their stroller.

That is the best thing I can tell you. Also, eat more fruit and like you did when pregnant, drink plenty of water.

I think that diet pills aren't really good for you but a good multi-vitamin can help boost your energy, I suggest the GNC women's, it says to take two, which you can, but I usually take one. Also since I've had my son I have been trying desperately to lose some weight, I got a trainer and went to the gym all the time and ended up gaining like 20 lbs. Not sure how I did that, but recently one of my co-workers and I signed up for a half marathon. You can run or walk, i'm walking. We have a schedule to help us build up to the marathon, but typically we walk 30 min Mon, 36 tuesday, 40 thursday, and then like 60 on Sat, and rest every other day, I didn't think walking could really help, but i've lost like 12 lbs. this month. So maybe try signing up for something you can work towards and you'll be more motivated. (Not saying you are unmotivated) If that's not for you try walking like 30 minutes at least 3 times a week.
