Hi girls-
I breastfed my girl for 14 months. My breast grew 3 sizes with milk and pregnancy. My question is WILL THEY EVER SHRINK?? It has been almost three months since I stopped. Any info?

i hate to be a downer here(and everyone is different) but i started out at a healthy C, exploded 2-3 sizes up!, nursed my son for 20 months and am still a D 2 1/2 years later! so you may shrink, but be prepared for the possibility that you may not!

hi M.! my son is going to be 3 in february and i nursed him for 16 months. my bra size went up 3 sizes as well...from a "c" to "dd". i am now a "d" and have been done nursing for little over year and a half. i know everyone can be different though cuz my friend went from a "b" to a "c" and now down to an "a" and she has been done nursing for year and a half as well. i can't say what yours will do, but i'm sure they will decrease a little.

Even though I can't be sure because I'm still nursing but I would say if they haven't gone back to normal by now they will probably stay that way. I nurse my son only once a day now and my breasts are pretty much the size they were before I got pregnant.

Hi M.

My name is Julie from Singapore. I am a mother of a ten months old girl. I have an advice. I am a bit awkward to say this but here goes. My sister-in-law has this same problem and she used.....jackfruit leaf! She guaranteed that it works. If you can find jackfruit leaf, use the leaf as a bandage on your breast. Leave it overnight and from the words of my sister-in-law, it works. Her breast shrink.

It seems to be true caused I seen the different myself. It worth a shot. Give it a try, you got nothing to lose.

I breastfed my son for about 18 months. Before I started breastfeeding him I was a "b" cup and during breastfeeding I went up to a "c" and now 18 months after I finished breastfeeding I have shrunk down to an "a", so I think it is really different for everyone. My breasts got huge when I weaned him and then I pumped one last time to release the pressure and they began gradually shrinking. I would have liked to keep a little of it...

I breastfed 3 children, my youngest child is almost 2 and my breasts always went back to their original size. I wouldn't of minded keeping some of my breast feeding size!!

Curious...what is your stayinhomeandlovinit about? I've had a business out of my home for almost 4 years and I'm lovin it too. I'd be interested to know how your compensation plan works and what products and services your business offers.

It's been about 3 moths since I quit nursing too and my breasts are about one size bigger than they used to be. I've always had large breasts, so growing two sizes while nursing didn't bother me that much. It seemed to take me forever until they started to go down, but slowly and surely they have. However, if you haven't noticed any difference, you may be stuck. One other thing, just in the past couple of days, I've noticed that I've been leaking some milk....not much, just enough to get my bra wet in a couple of spots. It may be that you still have some milk in there or you're producing just enough to fill up your breasts. Try wearing tight bras to help your body shrink them down. Other than that, I don't know what to tell you. Good luck!

Yep, they'll go back. I went from A to D and back again. It took me a couple of months post-nursing, and many different bras in various sizes, but eventualy you get back into your old ones.
