I have an adorable 10 month old little girl who is the absolute light of my life. I'm thinking about enrolling in age appropriate classes at either Gymboree or The Little Gym. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with either entity or has heard any other moms talk about their experiences. I'm interested in all feedback, good, bad or indifferent. Anything you can offer to assist me in my decision would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi K.,

I have a little girl who will be 3 in 2 wks. and we've been going to TLG in Randolph since she was 11 mos. She still looks forward to it every week. I just got her little sister started in it this summer when she turned 11 mos. I absolutly love TLG. You can call and set up a free trial class to see how you like it. Maybe we'll see you there!

HUGE Gymboree fan. Started hanging out at open gyms there then classes and still taking classes at level 5! My daughter loves it. I tried other places, she still loves Gymboree. Not to mention, she has learned so much from her classes there. They are smart and well structured. You may not get what they are doing some of the time in terms of activities but it gets used in daily life like cleaning up her toys to following directions to waiting in line etc...Cant speak more highly of it.

Hi K.

I took my daughter to a free day at Little Gym and she had a great time (she was 1 at the time). I never enrolled because it was a little pricey for me but if I could I would. It is a great place for her to meet other babies and also exercise. I've heard from the parents there that they love it. You should give it a try, even if its for one day.
Hope this helps :)

My daughter never went to the Little Gym, but at 10 months I think Gymboree is a great place to start. It's a fun, relaxed atmosphere. They have a song and bubble time, and when you do the climbing you can do what the group is doing or just stay on what you want. That's what we did when our daughter was younger. You should call one in your area to see if you can try out a class.
