FAA Car Seat Approval Stickers?
Has anyone found a website where you can order FAA car seat approval stickers? I have a Britax Roundabout and a Graco infant seat. The last time I flew the airline stewardess could not find the FAA approvals on the seats and told me that I could order the stickers off of the internet. I can't find them on the FAA.org, United Airlines, Britax or Graco websites. Any ideas? I'm flying again in 3 weeks and will need them.

I fly all the time with my 2 1/2 year old and have never needed an FAA sticker. I have never in fact heard of one. What airline?? Also, you don't need a car seat for the 5 month old who should be a free lap child. If you bring a car seat you will pay for an extra seat at full fare.

I would contact Britax and Graco directly and bring the manuals for both with you; I have the Roundabout as well and I know it's stated in the manual that it is FAA approved. I think the Britax sticker is on the back of the seat underneath someplace and the Graco sticker should be too.
Good luck!

I have NEVER heard of such a thing! I have flow 3 times a year with a three of our kids and have never been asked for this kind of sticker. Did she refuse you to bring the seats on board? I really would not worry about it. Maybe call the airlines and mention that the stewardess told you that you needed this and they should direct you where to get it. If they are requiring it then they should know where to find it.

M.,
I wasn't aware that you could order FAA stickers, but I have a question for you.
I'm going to be taking my first airplane trip with my 2 1/2 year old daughter in a few weeks. We are flying Southwest, which has very narrow seats. Do you know if the Britax Roundabout fits in Southwest seats? The airline is no help.
Thanks,
B.
