Ever Use a Stroller Connector?

We are going to Disney in April and we will have a 3yr old and a 7 month old....do we take one stroller? Or two umbrellas (we have 2 matching jeep strollers) and buy the stoller connector? We have a nice double jogger, but I do not want to check it because I do not want it broken. Did anyone ever use the connector? Did you like it? Do you want to give/sell it?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

I will take some of your advice here and probably only bring one stroller and I also have a ergo baby carrier that I will bring incase the 3 yr old wants to ride for a little bit. We will be in town for a wedding so we will need to have atleast one stroller with us. THANKS

Haven't read any of the responses - but rent the ones they have at disney and avoid checking the strollers in at all.

I can't comment on the connector question, but as for renting strollers at WDW, not sure I'd do that. Unless there are other strollers there that I didn't see, most folks with Disney strollers looked as if they were having a tough time with them. Maybe okay for your three year old, but not the 7 month old. They are hard, molded plastic. Little ones would have no support in these, and they look uncomfortable for any age. Most folks were padding the heck out of them w/blankets, etc., trying to prop tired kids and keep them comfortable. I've also heard they are heavy and not easy to maneuver.

Something else to know, which I didn't until I got there, is that strollers are not allowed in lines for the rides. You have to park strollers and walk/carry children. I agree, your three year old will probably want to walk quite a bit and will do well, but you will probably want to have a Bjorn or similar carrier for your little one if you are intending to stand in line with her.

C. - I think you might be surprised at how much your 3 year old will want to walk. When we went with twin 3 year olds and a 5 year old, no one wanted to be in the stroller.
It's exciting for them to walk plus it's kind of a hassle to park the stroller, etc.
Maybe you could just bring one???

You can rent them at the park it is much easier then bringing them!

I would take the double. Are you flying and worried about it getting broken?? If that's the case, you can take it all the way to the plane and they can put it under the plane and have it ready right when you walk off the plane too. You don't have to check it in like reg. luggage. I don't know how I would have survived at the airport without being able to take it all the way to the plane.

Do they rent strollers at Disney? Seems I heard/saw/read something somewhere about that... If you aren't intending to go anywhere else besides Disney, that might be a more affordable and convenient option. I've never used connectors... they never seemed sturdy enough (at least for us - we are a bit rough on stuff).

I have never used a stroller connector, but I have a 3 year old and a 4 month old and we went to Disney in December. We brought our stroller for our 4 month old and rented the double stroller at disney for our 3 year old. There strollers are really nice and convenient. Our $80 for the week. Well worth it and less luggage for you to bring.

I bought a connector and haven't used mine yet. Maybe take one and rent another?
