Hello! Anyone use a double jogging stroller? Is it hard to manage? I would really like to get back in to jogging and wonder if a jogging stroller would be worth it. I have a 2 year old and a 9 month old. THANKS!

I totally agree with Maria - I have a double BOB and it is one of the best investments we made. The front wheel can be changed to be fixed for jogging - there is a small basket underneath for storage. We use this stroller for everything. For walks in parks with varied terrain, it is awesome. It also made a trip to Disney World. You can break it down - it is a side by side stroller. Another nice feature is the dual umbrella top. Each side has it's own canopy, so one child can be covered while the other is not. Also, each side can recline on their own as well. The weight limit combined is 100# so you will get a lot of use out of it. I have 3 children and when we go for family outings one side is dedicated to the baby - 3 months and then the girls take turns getting in and out - 2 & 4.
I got my stroller from online - strollermama.com. They were great to work with. You might be able to find a used one on ebay or through a mom's club or craigslist. If you have any other questions, please let me know.
Good Luck
K.

I have an InStep ultra and I love it because it is so light, it's lighter then my single! I can run with it, but because I'm short and since my kids are now almost 2 and 4 I find it a little uncomfortable because I end up tensing my shoulders too much. However my husband has no problems running with it.

I will say, if you plan on running with it you should really get one with a fixed front wheel. It doesn't make that big a difference when you aren't running but when you are it makes it much easier.

Also checkout joggingstroller.com it will let you do side by side comparisons and I think it also has a little "quiz" to help you choose models...what you need it for, where you'll use it, etc.

I have a double BOB and it pushes easier than any stroller I've ever tried. I have 50+ lbs between my two kids and the 30+ lb stroller. You would think that would be hard but my 3 year old can push it. Definitely worth the money.

Hi S.,

I have 9 month old twins and I just got a double jogger stroller. It is a BOB Revolution Daullie. It has a swiveling front wheel that can lock when jogging. Great suspension, 2 independent reclining seats that each hold 50lbs. I love pushing it around outside. It feels like pushing a feather.
The only problem is it is expensive, but so worth it!
Good Luck!

We have a DuoCruiser...love it! It's the kind you can either push while walking/jogging or pull it behind a bike. It pushes like a dream...so easy...doesn't seem like I'm pushing the 50+ lb weight of my kiddos. I haven't tried running/jogging behind it, but I'm sure it would work great!
