Hi ladies!

We are going to DW in October w/my 2 1/2 aboy and 5 year old girl and would love suggestions on Character Dinning places mostly for breakfast or dinner. Is dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table worth the price (we wanted breakfast but it is sold out :(

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there,
We used to live in Tampa and spent alot of time at Disney. While I have two boys who have been almost every breakfast, I have also been there with girls too. Beware of the CRT dinner, make sure the characters are all there. I know they are for Breakfast but not sure about the dinner. See allears.net for full descriptions. Ohana used to be very good but the characters changed to Stitch and Lilo and my sons were never fans. Norway with the some of the princesses was great, they engaged my sons and they loved it. Chef Mickey great especially if they like Mickey. They seemed to have more time to spend with the kids and very playful. Crystal Palace is good, my son's 1st and 2nd Birthdays were spent there. Liberty Tree has great food, hard to get into for dinner. Donald's at Animal Kingdom was ok, but it did get us in early for AK and went to the safari. 1900 Park Fare has Cinderella for Dinner and I heard that was good. Early in the day hosts are Mary Poppins and some Alice in Wonderland. We also loved Cape May at the Beach Club. Goofy sat down for awhile and played with my sons. We ended up going three days in a row because they loved it. For your daughter consider the Wonderland Tea Party at the Grand Floridian. Girls love it.

We are going in November. Right now we have Cindy's booked, along with the Lilo/Stitch breakfast at Ohana's at the Polynesian and the Little Einsteins lunch at Hollywood & Vine.

I've been told that just because you didn't get a reservation at the place you want is no reason to give up - lots of people book tables and then cancel them, so keep calling every couple of days and ask if they have an opening for the meal you want. Good luck!!

We always loved the breakfasts at the Polynesian. That is where we always stayed.

Chef Mickey at the Contemporary is good. There was a place inside Magic Kingdom that had Pooh and friends that was good.

We never did the Cinderella.

Pay the $ and do it once. Make great memories!!!

dinner at Chef Mickey is fun!!! and we also ate at Liberty Tavern or is it called Liberty Grill in Magic Kingdom. That was good food and the characters come around regularly - a lot! Bring your autograph books!
The character meals are worth it! Kids love it!

We took my (then 5 1/2 yr old) daughter to Disney in March. We had breakfast at the Castle and it is absolutely worth the price. For one, if she likes princesses at all, she will be absolutely ecstatic to be in Cinderella's castle. Secondly, you get a souvenier photo and wand and individual attention by several princesses. ( I heard that occasionally one of the princes or the fairy godmother make apperances too but we didn't see them). We saw Cinderella, Snow White, Belle, Aurora and Mary Poppins. Thirdly, the food is actually good and it's plentiful.

Good Luck!

I know quite a few of the resorts do character breakfasts. Also, I highly suggest Chef Mickeys! The food is awsome!
