Disney Deals?

We're headed to Disneyworld in October (the one in Florida). Does anyone have any good tips on how to save $$$ on park tickets? We already have our airline tickets and our hotel. We only need tickets for two days (one at the beginning of our trip and one at the end) for four people (myself, my husband, our 4 year old and our 2 year old). Actually, come to think of it, I think the 2 year old gets in free.

We'll also be going to Sea World for one day on the same trip.

We don't love the idea of sitting through a time share presentation, so aside from that, any great tips on how to do Disney for less?

What can I do next?

you can go to a website called DW Savers. I think the website it dwtickets.com If you google DW Savers you will find it. The best deals that I have found for disney. You can have them mailed to you or you can buy them at their office in florida. Have fun. We are headed there in November.

Hello!
Go on the disney website. They may have package deals for the two days You need. As far as Sea World, your children will enjoy it. The shows would captivate them. Since your children are young, they will really enjoy the park. There will be a lot for them to see there. not a lot of rides, but if you're up for the walk, it would be great! Have fun!!! Check on the "park hopping tickets. That allows you to go to all the parks for one price . I do know they have two day park hop tickets. Every park needs a full day (except for Sea World), so choose the parks wisely. Universal would be a good park for the children with interesting rides with the movie!Magic Kingdom is awesome with a huge parade that goes through the entire park! You and your family will have a blast! Take plenty of sunblock and rain ponchos. It will rain for about 15 minutes then stop. There is a lot to see and do at disney world. You really need a week to capture all they have to offer. I remeber when my family went 2 years ago. We spent 7 days down there. It was tiring, but not a dull moment! Have lots of fun!!!

We just went to Disney this past spring break. I love Disney World. It is so much fun. I went online for tickets. I typed in Walt Disney World discount tickets. I ended up using www.orlandofuntickets.com.
Be sure to buy the maximum number of days that you think you will use. If it ends up being too much park, you can sell the extra days to a broker in Orlando. You will find out after 3 or 4 days the tickets get less expensive.
Have fun!

Go to AAA. As a member you can get discount tickets throught them (Both disney and seaworld). We booked out entire vacation through them earlier this year. We got 7 night at the marriot campus for under $400 total. You will only save a little on the tickets but is the best deal around. Also make sure your hotal has shuttle service. We had free shutlles to and from the parks through our hotel. Otherwise expect to spend another $10 a day for parking. They get you comming and going.

Haven't tried it yet, but in the Parenting magazine i read last night, you can get all kinds of deals at cheaptweet.com. Apparently it searches Twitter to find who's posted deals/coupons. I don't think you have to belong to Twitter to participate.

Hi A.!

Congratulations on your upcoming vacation. I am sure that you will have a great time.

I concur with the other posters about the discounted tickets through Undercover Tourist and/or Mousesavers. I have good things about them - though I have never used either one of them. I definitely would only go through an approved vendor for Disney tickets - no ebay, etc.

If you are looking for ways to save money at disney, it depends on what you are looking to save on - food, souvenirs, etc. One of the best resources for anything disney is the website - www.allearsnet.com they do have a couple of tip sheets on ways to save money. Also, you can search for $$ saving tips that readers have posted.

Please let me know if you need any more specific ideas, etc. I am more than happy to help.

Have fun.

We have been to DisneyWorld twice in the last 2 years, and done a lot of research both times. There really is nowhere to get any kind of real discount on park tickets. It stinks, but that's how they do it. The best way to go is one of the Disney resort packages (they have some awesome deals right now), but that doesn't help you since you already have your hotel. Have fun anyway!
