Here's a doozie - my son got a hold of a tube of diaper rash cream and has used it to paint on our light blue wall. He may have done this this morning and I just now found it (6:30pm). Any ideas how to clean this up?

This sounds crazy but I use baby wipes (Huggies) to clean almost everything that my kids put diaper rash cream on. Baby wipes are amazingly good to clean a lot. If that doesn't work, try painting over it with GLOSSY paint. Good luck!

Try some dawn detergent if it removes oil from sea birds(alaska) exxon valdeaze then it should help with the walls.
We had this happen. If you have washable paint you should be able to just wash it off. If not you will problably have to do what we did. We ended up getting all we could off the walls. Then we had to sand down to where there isn't any more of the oil(where the oil absorbed into the paint), and repaint. If you don't want to do all of that you might ask at HD or Lowes about repainting it with an enamel. We kept having the oil seep back through the paint, when it was painted over.
I would recommend this stain remover/order remover called sol-u-mel, it's all natural and non-toxic so when you use it you won't have to go back and wipe it down.
I agree with Anna. The only thing I have ever been able to find to get diaper rash cream off my hands is baby wipes. I would try that.
