Diaper Doublers

Does anyone know if you can use the reusable cloth diaper doublers with disposable diapers? ( I know it's a little strange, but I'm trying to do what I can)

why not just use cloth diapers? You can buy a diaper with 2 inserts for $18.95. If you buy 1/2 a dozen or more, there is usually a discount. Just a thought.

It would depend on the disposable. But if you are going to wash them already why not just go all the way with Cloth?

G Diapers if you haven't heard of them are a happy inbetween and if the pad isn't totally soaked I have heard of people reusing those.

Hope this helps.

Hi there! I am glad that you are looking into alternatives. I did the same and we ended up using G diapers! They are awesome, the inserts are biodegradeable so you can throw them away and they will break down! We have loved them for our son! They are now carried at babies r us too. Good luck.

I can't imagine why you would want to do that. Cloth diapers these days can be used just as long as a disposable diaper. I'm not sure what you mean by saying you're trying to do what you can but if you're talking in regards to the environment, a diaper in the trash is still garbage in the landfill. If you're talking your finances, cloth will save you thousands overall. There are ways to change economically and I would be glad to discuss this in detail with you.

Well, I use all cloth. I suppose you could.... Don't know if there would be any chemicals in the diapers that might get onto the doublers and make them not wash up as well. I just don't know there. There are disposable doublers. I remember using them some in my disposable days, particularly for overnight. They were quite cheap and I got them at Food Lion. Looked like a big sanitary pad with no sticky side.
Good Luck!
