Hello Ladies
I need some advice on a diaper issue. My 18 month old baby girl is impossible for me to change her diapers these days. I wrestle her all day long. I was wondering if I could change diaper to a pull up diaper. I have not potty train her yet but I think a pull up diaper would be easier. I use Hugges snug and dry size 4 and the tabs do not stay and they leave marks . Any suggestions? Thanks!!

What can I do next?

Thanks Ladies for all your advice. I think I will change diaper size and brand.

I think if you are going to try potty training soon pull-ups are a good option but I will give these words of caution. It will cost more to keep her in pull-ups, if she has a bm in a pull-up it is not a pretty sight to try and clean, they do not absorb as much as regular diapers and they do not last well through the night. I hate for this all to sound so negative, but I do HTH. Merry Christmas

If you aren't ready to potty train, I would suggest you go up a size in your diapers. It sounds like she is too big for the ones you are putting on her and if they are causing redness, this would lend to her not allowing you to change her diaper. My 18 mo wears size 6 because she is long wasted. You can't always go by what they say on the box. I also suggest pampers cruisers.

Like the other poster said, you can go to the pull ups in whatever brand, they just cost more and are for potty training since they are less absorbent.

Pampers makes Easy Ups which are more absorbant than the potty training pull ups. I used those with my daughter during the day when she was probably between 18-24 months. I was also thinking of using them with my 18 month old son now because he is also impossible to change.

Yes, you should definitely feel free to change to pull-ups if those work better for you and your daughter. She does not have to be potty trained to use them. Some kids just don't like being laid down for the diaper change. She might be more willing to stand for a diaper change.
