I have seen sites for "designer" hospital gowns but they are soo expensive! but I would really like to have one that is cuter than the standard they have at the hospital for the birth of my twins lol I know it might seem silly but there are so many pics taken I would really like to feel a little better about them
has anyone seen any sites that have them that are more cost friendly? or maybe have one they might want to sell?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

@2kidsunder3 thanks soo much! that is way better than the $60 & up I had seen! :))

thanks for all your replies I always change as soon as I can but sometimes you just dont feel like it right away! & there will still be lots of pics in the delivery room when the twins are first born! so I would like to have one for then, I understand if some people dont care about this but it is something I would like to have this time : )

babysteals.com had one on there. It might still be in the archives. Draft I just looked and it's not :(
I plan on making me one or retro fitting a night gown from a thrift store since it will be getting all gross. Or if you know someone who can sew, ask if they can help you.

diapers.com has some for $29. I dont think thats too bad, and you get $10 off your first order. I love this website. Gotten some good deals there.

Is this for labor and delivery or recovery? As soon as they gave me access to my bag I was so out of those awful hospital gowns. No way anyone was going to see my back door. What I did was got comfortable sweats pants and nursing tops that matched. The only drawback was nurses making me show my wrist band to prove I was an inmate. :)

I'm sorry :) the whole idea of a "cute" hospital gown made me giggle.

After you have the babies you should be able to change into any normal nite gown. I think the hospital gown is only for birth time in case you need an IV or something. Personaly I didnt' want pics of me during labor anyway!

I look at the pictures of both my births and I had the regular gowns. You know what I don't care one little bit because all I cared about was the beautiful and wonderful little baby I was holding. To me it is one less thing to worry about packing for the hospital, one less the thing worry over keeping track of, and one less thing to wash when I got out of the hospital. Also the money that could be spent on it could be saved and placed in a college or other such fund for your baby.

I like your idea. I know a lot of people have commented that they changed out of theirs and into regular clothes. I'll tell you what, the birth of my twins was soooo much different from my singleton. With my twins I was in the gown the entire time. I didn't even think about regular clothes at all. I was so exhausted from the surgery and being pregnant with twins for nine months. But, with my singleton, I was in regular clothes the next day (second c-section). I also noticed I bled way more with my twins, so there's that to consider, too, that you'd get your clothes stained most likely. Good luck to you!

Yes, the hospital gowns are awful for sure. But I didn't want to pay good money for something that it was possible for me to bleed all over!

I didn't care about the hospital gown, but I went and had my hair done is some cute braids before I had my baby, and that made me feel really pretty.
