Please call your doctor now. Like Jennifer said, it could be meconium. Do not dismiss the seriousness of this. Sometimes, when babies "poop" in the womb it is a sign of distress. Good luck, and please let us now when you have that sweet little baby in your arms!

Yellowish greenish could be attributed to an infection. You obviously DON'T want that spreading to the baby. See the link below. Call your OB after hours and see if they want to see you ASAP.
Your mucus plug is generally colorless and odorless so this doesn't sound like that.

I'm not sure, but I believe the "yellowish greenish color mucus" is meconium. I'd call your OB ASAP. If it is meconium, that means your baby pooped and they'll more than likely want to deliver your baby soon.
Good luck and congrats!!!

Call your doctor NOW, if you haven't already - that color could mean meconium (which is baby poop in the amniotic fluid) and is dangerous to the baby if not caught in time.

Sounds like you're losing your mucus plug. You didn't say how far along you are. You can lose your mucus plug a little at a time or all at once a month before delivery. You can also be slightly dilated for a month as well. This only means that you'll be having a baby soon. Not necessarily very soon. Stick with your due date. When your water breaks that's when you need to call a doctor right away as the baby will need to be delivered within 24 hours or so.
****I wanted to add that everyone talking about meconium, never heard of the color of the plug having anything to do with that. With my first son, my plug was white, yellow and green, like firm boogers. It came out a little at a time for a month. The docs knew and it was never questioned. It was normal! With my second son, it came out all at once when labor started. It was clear like sticky snot. Sorry to be blunt. That was normal too. It can have a tinge of blood as well. All normal. I'm wondering if women are picking up on an old wives tale or something. Meconium doesn't happen very often at all, but it does. It can happen at any time, not just overdue babies. Never heard of that either. I'm 46, have 5 kids and have known a ton of women over the years with pregnancies. Do not let some women scare you. If you do feel the need to call the doc to lesson your worries, do so. But do not worry! Everything sounds normal to me!

Please do not listen to Beck regarding the possible meconium issue. I had my daughter born at 35 weeks so nowhere near overdue and she had meconium in her gestational sac. I hope all is going well with you and your little one.

Sounds like your mucus plug. Mine looked like a giant booger when it came out (sorry, TMI). I lost mine with my 1st when I was about a week away from labor.

If your water breaks-the baby could come rather quickly-best of luck!
