Cute Clothes for Moms
Where do you go shopping for your clothes? I've been to Kohl's, Macy's and Ann Taylor Loft and cannot find anything I like.

I love Cato's. Clothes are very cute, modern, and not so costly that if you get tired of something, or it wears, you don't feel you have to hang on to it. They're actually pretty good quality, and if you hit the Clearance racks mostly, you can come home with a lot of stuff for not very much money. They have a Plus side and a Junior side, so something for everyone.

I suppose it's what kind of "mom" you are. I try to maintain a classic, stylish appearance (not too young and not matronly). Ross is good for cute summer dresses and tshirts/jeans. Pretty inexpensive. Burlington and Marshall's have a decent shoe and purse selection.
If you are on the thinner side, those little teen shops (Forever 21, Maybee, etc) are good for trendier going out outfits and something a little sexier.
I usually have to hit about 5 stores in a shopping outing to find things that are cute, functional and age appropriate.
Good Luck!

I love Cato's. They have business clothes as well as casual, shoes, purses, bras, panties, shapers, jewelry and even some home decor things. Also, they have a good selection of plus size clothes and undergarments. Their prices are reasonable and you can usually catch some good deals on clearance. I also get some cute tops from Sams Club believe it or not. Have fun shopping!

Not sure where you live, but the Dress Barn in Southlake is great! Its kind of funny because the Dress Barn in Hurst has (to me) more matronly clothes. The one that's in the Heritage Shopping Center (off 820 in Ft Worth) is pretty good, too. If there is one nearby check it out... if you don't like it check another one. Seems they care some of the same merchandise but not everything.
They have great stuff... fairly inexpensive and yet fashionable. I love their shirts that you don't have to iron!
Also, check SteinMart. If you sign up for their preferred customer plan (free) they will send you coupons in the mail.

I have been pleasantly surprised with the choices at Sears and JC Penneys over the last year. You might try there. They seem to have expanded their buying taste and selections. Good luck!

I like JC Penney. I heard Ross is a good store but I have not made it in there yet.

i like aeropastale. you have to be very careful alot of their stuff has their name written on it and that's a little too young for me but i have found some great stuff there. I have a pair of bermuda shorts and a couple of great tank tops that i love. just stay away from their graphic t's. I also can usually find something at target. i feel like kohls should be a great store but is a hit or miss for me.
