Does anyone have a crock pot recipe that kids (toddlers) will eat? My MIL is coming from out of town to watch the kids while my husband and I go out, I want to have dinner ready for her and the kids. Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

It depends on how picky your kids are! I have a ton of recipes, but I think the best thing is to check out this blog. http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/ She cooks so many different things in the crockpot.

If your kids are really picky, I say leave a little money and let Grandma order a pizza for everyone. :)

I always do a roast that my kids have been eating since they were 2 with no complaints. Get a rump roast, salt & pepper to taste, rub with Worcestershire and sear on all sides. Place in crock pot with whatever veggies you like - carrots, onion, potoatos, mushrooms (put mushrooms in the last 45 min). Mix together a can of cream of mushroom soup, can of cream of celery soup, and 1 package of dry onion soup mix. Add a little water if needed to fill crock pot 1/2 way to top. Cook on low all day or high for about 4 hours. Make some rice to serve it over, some biscuits and you're done! Easy and the hubby always likes it too! :) Good luck!

I made a really good soup, I tossed in all kinds of veggies, a couple cans of tomatoes, some chicken broth and some beans....at the end of the day I added a box(or you could use less) of star pasta and they gobbled it up....I adapted it from this recipe

crock pot mac n cheese?
I second the pizza idea. You could do make your own bagel pizza night. Just leave bagels, sauce, cheese and pepperoni.
How about you stock up on ice cream, whipped cream, and chocloate syrup and let them make sundaes with gramma. You can get all low sugar so the kids dont bounce off the walls. That would be a fun activity everybody would enjoy. Or go old school and do ice cream floats or strawberry shortcakes. That way the food is part of the fun.
