cramps can fluctuate from month to month....as can clotting.

document what's going on, track it over a couple of months....& see what happens. That way you'll be fully-armed/informed when you hit the dr's office if need be. :)

If the flow gets worse and the cramps get to be too much to handle call the dr. If you stop at the normal time just keep track of when you start again and how heavy or light it is.

Try asprin, my mom always told me asprin thins the blood and the cramping is from the blood clotting too much. Also try putting something warm on your stomach. I used to get them REALLY bad. Hope you feel better soon

mine are much worse since the baby. i take massive amounts of ibuprofen (sometimes 600mg)
a heating pad, or the heat packs they sell at walgreens helps allot!!

on the worst days, i take Tylenol if it is too soon to take more ibuprofen.

Call.

I would be worried that you have missed tissue. It can happen and it could take this long for your body to try and expel it from the miscarriage. Where you followed till your HCG was back down to zero or did you get an US once bleeding had stopped or about stopped to make sure everything was passed?

If no I definitely call. Sure miscarriages and births can change your AF for a bit but this reads like a miscarriage to me. I've had 5 and it sounds dead on. Sure you could have a chemical pregnancy, or retained tissue causing you a problem..... it could also be nothing but I'd personally call. If it's so far out of the norm and you don't have regular periods again I'd want it checked.

mine are worse since pregnancy and also just getting older. I second the ibuprofen, and especially a heating pad, that usually works the best for me. good luck- the things we go through. :-(

Try ibuprofen - it normally works for me. If that doesn't work, call the doctor. You know your body.
