I sure wish I knew a cure for a cold. But no one does....yet! LOL You can treat a cold and cough though. Put a vaporizer in her room if she is stuffy. Give her baby Tylenol if she seems to be in pain from a sore throat or has a fever or anything like that. Call her doctor for advise on which cough meds to give her.

Try Baby Vicks on her chest too - the scent is not as strong as regular and it's very soothing. That always seemed to help some when my daughter was that age. Now we use regular Vicks and it really helps calm the cough. Give her extra water too. More fluids (water more than anything else - although I don't mean in replacement of her nutritional needs) keep all the mucous moving and she'll be better able to clear it.

Hi N..

You should take your baby into the bathroom with you. Take off everythig besides the diaper and wrap a warm towel around the baby. Turn the shower on to make a steam bath. Stay in there for 10 to 20 minutes just holding your baby and it should loosen up the cold in your baby's chest. Besides that maybe a humidifier if you don't already have it. And saline nose drops with the nose suction when the cold comes out the nose. Good luck and I hope your baby feels better.
