I need to buy nice christening/baptism gowns for my twin girls. They are kind of big and fitting into 9 to 12 month sizes already. So if you have a recommendation for quality stores in the DC metro area please let me know. Thanks!

I used christeningshop.com for DS who was also big. They have a good variety in styles and sizes.

I have seen some nice ones at JCPenney. Not sure on your spending limit but they seem to be decently priced compared to others. They have more options on their website too. Hope this helps!

"Grandma's Attic" in the Kentlands (Gaithersburg, MD). They also have a website. Large selection of special occasion outfits.

I ordered my daughter's dress from onesmallchild.com. Their sizing was accurate (they give you measurements to take at home to compare to their chart). I ordered her slip and shoes from there, too (dress came with a cap). I compared it to things I saw in several baby stores, I feel I got a better dress for a reasonable price. Their customer service was very good, too.

Babies R Us and Sears had what I needed for that size.
