Does anyone have a "Chocolate No-Bake" cookies recipe that does not have peanut butter in it? My husband swears that's the way his mom made them, but every recipe I've found calls for peanut butter.

What can I do next?

Go to allrecipes.com and search "no bake cookies." Several recipes come up (though it looks like many of them have peanut butter.) You may also want to try a google search. Good luck!

sorry so late, just saw this. This is the recipe we use since my husband is allergic to PB. Not quite the same, but very yummy!
2 c. oats
3/4 c. sugar
3 Tblsp cocoa powder
1 Tblsp water
1/2 tsp vanilla
2/3 c. butter, softened
1 c. powdered sugar
Combine oats, sugar and cocoa. Mix in the water, vanilla and butter to form dough. Roll into balls. Roll in powdered sugar until thickly coated. Chill 20 minutes--if you can wait that long!

I would make them with peanut butter first. He may not realize that is how he had them all along :)

try the butterscotch chips instead of peanut butter.

I make white chocolate/butterscotch ones and they are awesome. Esp. if you add some raisins.
