Okay moms- how do you get chocolate milk and /or chocolate ice cream stains out of clothing? I've tried Oxiclean and it takes the original color out of the clothing but not the stain... Has anyone found something that works for this?!! Thanks!!

What can I do next?

Dawn dishwashing liquid. Took it out of clothes, shag carpeting, and the cloth loveseat we were sitting on.

My daughter is on Pediasure which stains horribly! I scrub it out with detergent and spray like crazy with this prewash treatment http://www.amway.com/Shop/Product/Product.aspx/Classic-La... so far it's worked. I tried Dawn like someone told me - but I felt like it took some of the color out, so only on whites now.

I haven't had this stain yet, but I use the Spray n' wash stick with Resolve. It looks like a deodorant container. I've never had it not get something out. You treat the stain and wash it within a week. I've got a 1 1/2 and 3 1/2 year old, so we have tested it!

I haven't specifically used it on chocolate milk stains, but I usually use Dawn dish soap on any food stain & it works!

I use Shout on stains, it works best if sprayed on when the stain is fresh, then again before washing.

Ecover stain remover. It's magical and it is organic.

My youngest son drinks (and spills) a lot of chocolate milk. I've always had good luck with pretreating the stains with a spray like Shout or Spray and Wash. It also helps to do it right away and not let it sit.

Gee Diann I use Dawn (the blue one) on everything and it has never left a spot of less color.. I dab with cold water, then a drop of Dawn on the grease or stain, and scrub with my fingernails in the palm of my hand, adding a little more water, then rinse in cold, and then wash just like normal in the washer. D., Ive taken chocolate syrup and ice cream and chocolate milk and melted Hershey bars out of all sorts of stuff. If nothing else,, they usually grow out of their clothes fast anyway, or it becomes a great play in the mud shirt.
