If you know anyone on your school PTA board, they may be able to help you as well. Between "Field Day" and end of the year "Carnival" fundraisers, many school have games in a storage closet that rarely get used. I know we have a lot of those fake fishing, bean bag toss, ring toss, type games at our school.

Good luck!

If you haven't already found them, Hobby Lobby (McDermott & 75 in Allen) has some carnival themed party supplies.

Hi, Ive done this theme before and you will have so much fun. I would suggest pony rides, cotton candy machine and snow cones for sure. Depending on your budget you can hire or just have someone in your family dress up like a clown. make sure you have a prize table, the kids love it. If you have anymore questions for me just shoot me an e-mail. I love party planning. Good luck

Hi P., Our family does a carnival every year. Here are some of the things we do.
1. Dart throw - use a cardboard or styrofoam piece maybe 4'x4', tack small balloons to it,each gets turn at throwing 3 darts.
2. Duck pond ( maybe to old for that ) use a large bowl or kiddie pool & rubber duck (Numbered) for a prize.
3. Ball throw - we use stacked cola cans take turns trying to knock them down you can also you can shoot them with a nerf or a high pressured water gun.
4. Throw balls (any kind of ball)or bean bags through a ring (swim rings work well) or hoop.
5. Ring toss - if you have swim rings for tossing in pool to dive for, they are great to toss over coke bottles. If you use plastic bottles fill them with water so the don't fall over easy.
6. If you have a spinner like used in games, put candy or prizes around it and let them spin for a prize.
Those are just a few ideas hope it helps. Good luck and Happy Birthday to your special little lady.God Bless & have fun.

I did a big carnival party and bought almost everything from Oriental Trading. I did also find some online sources for things like cotton candy.

Not sure about where you might find carnival stuff but check out parents.com and type in carnival party in their search. They had a really cute feature on a carnival themed party a couple months ago in their magazine and there were some really cute ideas about decor and games in there.

My husband and I are professional clowns living in Anna. We offer facepainting, balloon sculptures, comedy magic shows, friendship bracelets, along with fun interaction and games. We've entertained at birthday parties and large events like the Plano Balloon Festival.

We just performed at a carnival themed party this past weekend. It was tons of fun. The host served corn dogs, bbq wings and popcorn for the kids.

We were there performing a magic show, that the kids loved and afterwards did facepainting and balloon sculptures.

We've performed at parties where they have had snow cone machines along with popcorn machines. These you can rent. I'm not sure how expensive they are.

Our prices are very reasonable (we have four great kids of our own so we know how expensive things can get)and we do our best to work within a person's budget.

Please feel free to take a look at our website at www.freewebs.com/bubblesandwowza for samples of our work.

Give us a call at ###-###-#### if you have any questions at all.

Hope you have a great party whatever you decide to do.

Hope to hear from you,

K. Schmidt
