A/C is acting funny and with so many companies out there I wanted to get personal feedback. Any luck with any local companies?
Nuccio has a good reputation. I know they do commercial, don't know about residential. don't know about prices.
I live in Land O Lakes, we use Tampa Bay Air. They are based in Land O Lakes. Maint. check fees are reasonable. Don't know about how they charge for parts & labor.
A friend of mine's husband has an AC company and they work a lot with Progressive Energy, but still does jobs outside that. He has come to do a few things to our AC. I trust him very much and always make them charge us. Their prices are very competitive. The company is called Air Slinger 866-470-5541.
Progressive is great with explaining the issues,
as well as the options,
and giving it all to you in writing.
I like that their repair people do not get
paid on sales commission. They get paid to work.
It changes the angle of the sale, if you need a new one.

This time last year or A/C quit and we did quite a bit of research and decided on Caldeco. We were incredibly happy with the work and the customer service. They come out first of course and give you a full estimate. We had a few companies come out and they were the only ones that gave us a full estimate down to the penny on a variety of unit sizes.
