Britax Regent Cup Holders
I'm finally going for the king of all car seats...the Britax Regent. I'll be picking it up Mon morning. The only thing is that I just found out that there are no cup holders on it! Ack!! My son uses his all the time.
Does anyone have a solution for cup holders on any Britax car seats? There is one from One Step Ahead. It mostly got good reviews.

There was a cup holder at Babies 'R Us that got horrible reviews.

How old is he? Can he not hold the drink in his lap? My 2 year old does if he has to have a drink in the car, which I do not allow unless it's a spillproof sippy cup.
I don't think Britax recommends adding or taking away from their seats, it's a safety issue.

I have a regent and don't see how the above cupholder would work frankly. But then the close up shots aren't loading so I could be wrong. We had a cupholder on our old Graco and my son used it. I thought it might be an issue, but it hasn't been. He keeps his sippy to the side or between his legs when I drive. Also, there is a mesh pocket on the side that he will sometimes use.
Really, the Regent is so worth it even without the cupholder. You won't regret purchasing it.

I have the side rider from one step ahead. I love them. I have a Britax car seat without cup holders too. My son likes to have a sippy cup, snack cup, and whatever else he may have in his hand when it is time to go. So I needed something to hold it all where he could reach it. The first set that they sent me I managed to break the clip on one of them when I was trying to attach it to the seat. I think it was my fault, but when I called one step ahead they said that they would replace them. I didn't even have to return the damaged ones. They said that anything under $20 would just be replaced. The new ones came within a few days. When you clip them to your car seat just "clip" to the seat cover, not including the padding. I think that is how I broke my first one. That will make sense if you order them and see how they attach. We put the other set in my husbands car, we just used a safety pin where the broken clip is.
