Drink lots and lots and lots and did I say lots, of Cranberry Juice and water. Drink NOTHING else for about 3 days but water and Cranberry juice.
I have been where you are and next time when you first feel the beginnings of it start drinking Cranberry right away. You can also take a Cranberry pill each day which will help it from coming back again. I keep Cranberry juice in my frig all the time.

You need to go buy AZO cranberry pills and drink lots of cranberry juice. You can get them at Wal-Mart or anywhere. I get bladder infections all the time and that's what helps me! Good luck!

most say Doctor; I say THYME. The dried herb you can buy at any grocery store (CHEAP). Here's how it works for EVERY woman in my family: Take a teaspoon - teaspoon 1/2 (I use a lot b/c I reuse the same thyme for three cups of tea in one day) and put it in a coffee mug, pour hot water into the mug and let sit for 3/5 minutes, drain the thyme out and use that thyme to start another cup (it's pretty much just Thyme tea) while you're drinking the first cup. The trick is to FILL your bladder with thyme tea, it has natural ingredients in it that will literally EAT away at any bacteria in your bladder and it tastes good, too! Imagine what Lysol does to bacteria; that's what thyme naturally does for you body, just like that! It also helps support healthy lung function. I drink this all the time, it's good for you. If you have an infection, drink three cups for three days and the infection will be gone. Also, a lot of women mistake bladder infection for cysts on the ovaries; so if you're ovulating, that may be a possiblity. I was just diagnosed with IBS, same pain as you have, and my OB said, "welcome to you upper 20's, this is common." lovely! but THYME WORKS!! good luck!! and DON'T drink cranberry juice unless it's CONCENTRATE from the health food store; any sugar makes UTI/bladder infections worse and there's nothing but sugar in the store bought garbage!

A lot of people are saying cranberry juice, but unless you buy concentrate and pretty much drink the entire thing within an hour, it won't work. The sugar in store-bought makes it worse; only straight cranberry juice (no cocktails or blends) will make a difference.

Have you strained your stomach muscles doing anything in the past couple of days. That is what it sounds like to me.
When I had my bladder infections, they would start with less urine, and a pain at the end of the pee. Then, everytime I urinated, it would hurt terribly and my urethra would be very irritated.
My doc told me, no caffinated drinks of any kind, no citrus. I would start drinking a lot of water, gallons, and cranberry juice. Nothing spicy. I don't think it will go away by itself, and you may have to see the doc. Good luck.

If that is the only symptom you have, it sounds more to me like a cyst problem. I have had ovarian cyst several times and I have experienced the same pain in the same area. However, it does usually concentrate more to one side than the other. I would definately go to a doctor and get an utrasound. If a cyst ruptures on your ovary it can actually twist the tube around and "kill" the ovary it's attached to. Certainly nothing to messa around with. Good luck!

You didn't say whether you had been to the doctor or not...if not, you need to go and give a urine sample..then the doctor will prescribe an antiobiotic if you do have a bladder infection...drink a lot of water and cranberry juice is also good for them...Another thing that will cause bladder infections is Bubble Baths....too much and all girls and women can get a very bad one...try and stay away from Bubble bath! L.

Cranberry juice....Kroger's frozen section has little cans like the frozen orange juice which are less costly ( sometimes, or the kind mixed with raspberries or something else can be...).
Stay away from orange juice....it can make the urine to acid, and can be more of a problem....
If you don't have health insurance, call Matthew Walker Clinic, or General Hospital as see about getting a sample of urine tested....been there, there are great people there that know their stuff. Good luck.....and DRINK , flush the system out !!

I will tell you a home remedy that I used and it really helps.Go to the CVS and buy garlic vitamins.Take 4 or 5 in the morning and 2 at night for a week and you will be surprised of how it works..

Cranberry Juice. But serioulsy take care of yourself and go to the doctor!!!

No one's suggested this yet, so here goes . . . At GNC get an herbal diuretic called Goldenseal. There aren't good directions on the package as far as how much to take, but the idea is to drink water all day and take as many capsules as you need to make yourself pee a lot(for me it was 1, 3 or 4 times a day - for my mom it was 2, 4 times a day).
Like everyone else has said, if it is a bladder infection the best thing is antibiotics - especially if it's gone so far that you're seeing blood in your urine or when you wipe.
The last time I was having bladder infections on a regular basis, I was under a lot of stress. So after the first time when I did go to the Doc and get antibiotics, I would take the goldenseal capsules for as long as I felt symptoms and then for another 2-3 days afterwards. I also suggested this method to a friend who had previously had kidney stones and it helped her as well. Take care!
