I attended both the Child Care class and the Childbirth Class at Methodist Willowbrook Hospital and was very pleased with both. The childbirth class was on a Saturday for the entire day, although I believe that they have other classes that are several nights for a few weeks. The child care class was on an weekday night for about 3 hours. They also offer a breastfeeding class if you are interested in that as well.
Most Education departments at the hospitals offer these courses, you may call the hospital that you are going to deliver at to see what they have to offer. Best wishes!

It totally depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for a specific style of birthing, then you should go into that direction but if you are looking at just a basic prepared childbirth class then that is totally different. Typically hospital classes teach what they want you to know and do, i.e. mainly stay laying in bed, hooked up to monitors, epidural placed as soon as possible. They do not objectively teach what your choices truly are. Most places feel that with twins it is an automatic c-section because it is easier for them. They don't take into consideration that you may actually want to take part in your children's birth.

www.HouBirth.org has a reference listing that may have some of the information that you are looking for.

I have been a doula for a few couples that have been expecting twins and they were fortunate enough to find really great doctors to work with them and help them labor and deliver as they wished. Think h*** o* the type of birth that you always dream about and there is a VERY good chance that you can achieve it!

Memorial Hermann in The Woodlands has a great class. We took it when I was preggo with our first. You can look it up online or call. I think the number is 1-800-444-care? The website is www.memorialhermann.org
