Hi moms!!! My son turns 4 in a month and I'm looking for a nice place to have his party with his classmates. I'm looking for a fun place indoors. Do you know of any good places you can recommend? Thank you!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I checked several places and we're giving Pump It Up a try! Sounds like it's the favorite place around here and the kids love it. It's a bit expensive but not having to worry about cleaning up, planning and being able to enjoy the party myself could be very much worth it (I hope!!!) We look forward to a blast of a party!!! Thanks to everyone for your help!!!

There is a place in Mundelein called Pretend Playground that my kids love to go to when they have open play time.

I have never been there for a private party but I think it would be great!

They have a website, I don't know what it is off the top of my head so you have to google it.

Hi E.,
I hope I'm not too late to weigh in. Check out my website, www.kidwinks.com. Click on Services along the top, then click on Birthday Party Services along the left rail, then click on Birthday Party Places. We have several listings there, so you can read about each one; some also have parent reviews, which are very helpful. If you become a member of kidwinks.com (which is free), you can also view the mileage from your house to each of these places, and can also sort the search results by distance.
Hope you find a place for a great party!

We had a party for our twins' 1st b-day at the Elk Grove Park District in the Carousel Room and Jumps n Jiggles Room was included. Perfect for kids ages 2 to 8. Might have a hard time getting in though because they usually get booked quick ( like a year ahead ). All the guests said they enjoyed it.

Over the summer we had my son's b-day party at the pool in the YMCA in VH. They all loved it. It's inside and they turn on the fountains and it's like a mini water park. They do that for an hour then the second hour was pizza and cake. It was great!

Pump it up, Chucky Cheese, McDonalds (does a great party by the way: inexpensive, goodie bags, the cake & everything for like $6.00 per kid!!), build a bear are all right in Vernon Hills....

Go Bananas is in Arlington Heights too....

I just had my son's 4 year old birthday party at Lambs Farm in Libertyville. They have a new large roomy party room (indoors) and they set up a few fun games inside and space so that you can do your own things, too, if you want. It is still early enough to use the farm, too,if you like. They have a train that the families love, a petting animal area, a nature center inside, a jumping circle, miniature golf (for all ages)and just walking the paths to see the other animals. People were talking about the party for weeks after. We had so much fun. Most of our parties were at Pump it Up, so this was a nice change.

Pump it up is a great place for a party and they make it really easy for you. There are several in the north suburbs.

I think there is a Pump it Up party in your area, which is
a big indoor space filled with inflatables that the kids
can play on. We have had several bday parties for my sons at the one in Glenview. The place is very clean, well organized, and the kids absolutely love it!!
I would definitely recommend the shorter party session for
a 4 year old (1 hr. 30 min. It is less expensive, plus the kids get really tired out after the hour of jumping.
Have fun!
