Hi - I am looking for a place to have my son's 3rd Birthday. His birthday is in April and the I would like to have the party on a weekend and not at my house. There are about 8 little ones and a bunch of adults that would be invited. I am looking for something the kids will really enjoy (ages 1-3) and can accomodate adults too. Any ideas would be great. We live in Cranston, RI so anything within about 30 miles is fine.

What can I do next?

Hi! I have seen really neat birthday parties at the carousel in Slater Park, Pawtucket, RI. The carousel is better designed for smaller children there than most I have seen. Roger Williams Zoo or anything else on their grounds (I know they have a Hasbro play area), may have birthday parties, also. Hope this helps~L.

I don't have a specific place in mind - but the age group SCREAMS for hands on and "simple".......I'm thinking a farm setting or the zoo. Someplace where strollers and stragglers will be in a comfortable place! I have no idea (mine are grown and gone) what is available but I'm sure there IS something out there.......
When mine were little I had a hug-a-bunny party and a pony come to the house.and everyone still talks about it..in a few years your gang will be ripe for this...but right now "touching" and seeing (and hearing!)animals up close would be a great experience for all- Moms and Dads, too....
have fun!

The Providence Children's Museum (sp), Roger Williams Zoo (fingers crossed for a nice day), an ice rink, Skate USA in Riverside, Lizzie's Enchanted Creamery (Cumberland), Michael's Crafts does parties / Not sure if AC Moore does. I will think of a few more as I can.

Good luck!

Hi...we recently went to a birthday party at the carousel at Roger Williams Park. It was a great time and kids of all ages had fun riding the carousel. The carousel is beautiful. Our friends had catered food brought in and set up, but I'm sure you could bring your own. I'm not too sure how much it cost, but there were limitless rides for all who attended.

My daughter will be 3 on St Patrick's Day. She wanted to have her party at Monster Golf in Warwick. If you google "children birthday party ri" you will get many ideas. How about the children's museum? Or in N. Kingstown we have a small (can't remember what it's called) place where the kids can pet small sharks & look at fish & stuff. My little one loved it.
I have considered Clayground, but they want 6 years+ only. And there is another paint your own pottery place where you bring it home with you that day. That was fun, but maybe a bit young...
Good luck!

We live in Portsmouth but I think these are a chain so there may be one closer to you... Club Sprouts? They have an indoor gym for toddlers/ preschoolers with lots of cool stuff for kids to do and they do parties.

You probably already know about this but the ymca rents out a party room, you can do a bounce house pretty cheap (75$ if your a member)Not sure if that is what you are looking for since it is ages 1-3! Good luck- C.- cranston
