Birthday Party for 5 Year Old Boy Girl Twins

I need help finding a fun place for my twins birthday party. They will be 5 in Feb. And they are boy and girl so it has to be fun for both. We have done pump it up, gymnastics, other jump places. They want something different. It has to be able to have 25 or more kids. Yes we have many twin friends hence the large size party. Thinking childrens museum but would like some other ideas. Doesn't have to be limited to Portland and we are on the west side. Thanks for everyones help!

What can I do next?

Thank you everyone! There were some great ideas for me to think about. We still haven't decided yet but need to do so this week.

The Audubon Society of Portland does a nice birthday party. My daughter went for her 4th or 5th birthday. They go for a walk and point out salamanders, frogs, and birds then inside to see bird skeletons. It's not a lot of jumping and yelling but they do take large groups.

We have been to several great bday parties at Out of This World in Hillsboro. I guess it's similar to the other places you've gone to, so you might not be interested, but my kids absolutely love it. And I love that there are no arcade games - the emphasis is on fitness and fun. They do serve pizza and salads, but no beer for the grownups! We have also used it for field trips for my preschool. It has a couple of inflatable jumping things, plus a huge climbing/sliding structure, plus an area for babies/toddlers. Good luck!

You can rent a pool through the parks system. They provide the lifeguard. The times are usually hours when the pool is closed to the public, so there is plenty of room. They have rooms to rent to have refreshments or you can go home for that. We did this when our two children turned 4 & 7. Their birthdays are close together.

Safari Sams is in your area, and they do birthday parties. Also, you could try a bowling alley or a skating rink.

We just went to a party at the Oregon City pool. It was great and very reasonable. I don't know all the details, but there is a room you can rent for $13.00/hr with a full use of the kitchen. It is just a room, but it is a great place for the kids to run around. Then the kids went swimming after. I think the cost was somewhere around $48-$68 dollars for 20-25 kids. The only restriction is there had to be 1 adult in the pool for every child under 8. Good luck!

My wife and I had a birthday party and the pirate place in the Lloyd center. They have a private room completely decorated in priate stuff and it holds thirty kids. They prove invitations, a pirate cake, pirate hats, eye patches, a pirate story and pirate treasure hunt. It was fairly reasonably priced and the staff was excellnet

Portland's SouthWest Community Center for a swim party. We had each of our kids 5th birthday there. You might run into a capacity issue with that many kids plus parents in the poolside room. They have other options if you call.

OTW.. Out of this world off cornelius pass is great, also I heard of this neat pirate themed room at the Lloyd center.. Winter birthdays are hard but there are many neat places around here to go... Also you can try some of the community centers and rent out a room, maybe have a magician come in or a favortite character?! Gymboree does birthday parties as well.. OGA is another place I heard that does good birthday parties.. The gymnastics place in Beaverton.. I've heard the zoo is hard because you can't park very close to the rooms and if you are bringing stuff, it's a long way to haul stuff.. Good Luck, Have Fun!! We're doing Pump It Up Jr for my 2 year old with 25 kids, the end of this month!
