My son rarely uses a stroller anymore, but there are times when he needs one. What umbrella type strollers would you recommend. Most I have looked at are just too small for him.

What can I do next?

look at the online stores...like walmart online...they hav umbrella type strollers that are a little bigger than the normal ones, i got mine for like 20ish (i dont remember exactly) & it folds up flat, has a basket underneath & is just slightly bigger than an umbrella to accomadate my son & it is higher so you are not leaning over just to push it.

I know it's pricey, but we love our Maclaren. It is rated up to 55 lbs, and our 41 lb tall lanky five year old still rides very happily.

Maclaren Volo. We LOVE it! Folds so small and has a carry strap, but holds bigger kids. The handles are higher than most umbrella strollers, which my husband appreciates.

I have a Maclaren stroller that I love! We bought it 2 years ago and I still love it! It is bigger than most, but still really lightweight and easy to collapse. I also have a chicco stroller that I like. It reclines back much further than the Maclaren so it worked well for my 6 month old. It is also quite roomy!
