BabySitting Club

I know I asked this before and for those of you who did respond to me I still have your e-mails and will be getting with you shortly, but I wanted to ask again for those whom are new.

I would like to start a BabySitting Club. The details would be as follows with somemore to be added as needed:

Moms or Dads would sign up to be in the club we could meet at the mall the first time until we know eachother. Basics of the club would be if for example I needed to go to the doctor. I would call someone on the list to see if they could sit. Instead of paying them I would owe the group hours. If I can not "pay back" my hours within a to be determined time I would owe whomever sat for me a fee for their time.

I'm hoping to get my ideas together and have our first meeting the beginning of March.

Let me know if you or someone you know would be interested. I know we all live all over the Indy area and maybe I could place you with someone in your area. We could have little branches (lol).

Hey it's K. from Westfield, I got your e-mail earlier today and I think you have a GREAT idea!!! Any help would be great right? Count me in for the babysitting club. I am home all days of the week and work nights but could really help out.

As for the day care, I may take you up on it. I would just want to get to know you better of course, just like you would probably want to get to know me better if I am watching your kids. :) And then maybe we can talk about a price for watching my kids once or twice a week or exchanging kid hours. :) Let me know what you think.

Great Idea!
I was doing the same thing last year, with 2 other Mothers.It worked out great.Also,who ever had to go to work (or whatever) had to drive their child to the babysitting Mom's home.Usally, the husband, would pick up child from the prospective babysitter.

I would be very interested. I believe you had responded to my email regarding part-time childcare on Tues and Thurs last week. I apologize, I have not had time to call you. I have decided to go down to one day a week and a neighbor is going to watch our boys. I would be interested int eh Babysitting Club. Please let me know if you are able to pull something together. We are new to the area too, I don't know anyone and it would be great to start a network of mom's and dad's that could not only get to know each other but assist with sitting or get together for group activites.
