I have just lost my job and need work from home that is legitimate. I am an Army wife and have to be home for my children when my husband is gone (alot) and can't seem to find any legit. work from home! If anyone has any ideas I am ALL ears. I am not looking for something I have to sell or invest in to start my own business since I will not be here long enough to see it grow to anything.

What can I do next?

I do not know what your background is. However, here is a site I found about 5 years ago. You do have to pay for it, but it was a lifetime fee and it was a lot better price then most pay sites. http://www.homejobstop.com/ . I found work at home west http://www.workathomeagent.com/ there and work for them about 1 1/2 years but ran into problems of a quite home. but it would be one you could take with you if need be.

M.,
I work from home and I love it. Look at my website and see if it would work for you. There is no selling, no inventory and you get the website for free. www.PerfectForMom.com. We set up customer wholesale accounts. THere are many women who work with my group that are military wives. They find that because most of it done over the phone- they can take it with them wherever they are stationed.

I was browsing around online and found a website called www.wahm.com. It is for Work At Home Moms and has forums and some great resources. Good luck and Bless you and your family on your travels.

That is true that Jetblue Airways does work from home for reservations agents. I do it. HOWEVER if you don't want to pay for a sitter for your kids if they are quite young kids you may want to reconsider ONLY because you have to have a very quiet and professional environment and do occassionally have to go into the center for meetings and such where your children are not able to attend. But if your children are able to be quiet and somewhat take care of themselves for a couple of hours here and there go for it, I LOVE MY JOB, I just can't do it right now with my husbands hours and my hours, they don't work out. JetBlue offers a lot of opportunity to promote and change positions however wanting to work from home full time you will want to stay in reservations. They offer great medical, dental, vision and such insurances for a very reasonable price. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask however they won't be hiring until about October I believe but keep an eye on the website.
