With Asthma and Allergies would it be better to live in East Texas (Tyler area) or West Texas (Midland area)?

It depends what you are allergic to, and what triggers your asthma.

It all depends on your triggers. I've lived in East Texas (Nacogdoches) and West Texas (Lubbock), and had allergies in both places. The pollen in East got to me, but the dry air & dust in West did the same. Living in Houston (where I was born & raised and am back to now) wasn't great either until I started seeing a naturopath who actually cleared the allergies. No more allergy meds for me!!

I agree with the other posters...When we lived in Houston, my daughters and husbands allergies were BAD. Moved to Dallas area and things started to settle down alot.

I'm guessing it all depends on what the asthma triggers are and what the exact allergies are.

It depends on your allergies, but I can tell you that if you are allergic to pollen, mold, etc Tyler will be difficult for you. I am from Tyler and my husband suffers with allergies everytime we go for a visit.

I have terrible allergies and deal with asthma too. Back in March a friend introduced me to a supplement that has helped me dramatically. I have not had to take my allergy meds or inhaler since May! Before the supplement, I was really struggling, though. Let me know if you'd like more info. As far as where you live, I agree that it really depends on what you are allergic to... Good luck to you!
