i am looking for a new car. I think I want a Cadillac SRX. I am actually scared to go look at and or test drive one because I still need some time to save since I want to buy it outright. Just want to know if you happy and enjoy it. Also gas mileage. We got rid of our Tahoe and I miss the extra space! Thanks so much

What can I do next?

My daughter and I test drove one a few months ago. It was the best riding out of several that we test drove. But since she was 24 at the time, and thought that the Cadillac was too old for her, she bought an Acura instead. But I loved the SRX! We test drove an Infinity, Nissan Murano, every Toyota SUV, Honda SUVs, Mercedes, BMW and Acura RDX. We ended up buying the Acura RDX. But it does not ride as well as that Cadillac did! Good Luck.

My husband is a auto wholesaler. If you are interested his phone # is ###-###-####. He buys and sells cars at dealer only auctions and from other dealers at lower pricers. I hope that you find the perfect car for you!! Oh his name is Tim

My husband bought me a Cadillac Escalade in December. I thought he was crazy because I had a 2007 Tahoe and loved it. I didn't see the need to upgrade from a chevy to a cadillac until the first time I sat in it and drove it. That is the best driving/riding car I have ever owned. In fact is is 10x better than the Tahoe. In fact me and my husband both love the SRX too and almost regret not buying it instead. The Cadillac dealerships are awesome. They really give you FULL service when you go in there and they wash your car everytime.

Until I got my Escalade I would laugh at the Cadillac ads on TV...but it is true what they say ..."when you turn your car on does it return the favor?" A cadillac will do that. I really don't think Cadillac's are for "old" people anymore.

Just a note of advice in case you do decide on the Cadillac...if you get the cream leather seats...you have got to take good care of them and make sure you don't sit on them with wet jeans as they will fade the leather blue. Jeans do fade it even when not they are not wet but it cleans up easily with leather cleaner.

My husband buys new/used cars for dealerships please do not buy a Cadillac... your hard earned money is better spent on something else. In the long run you will have alot of problems with your Cadillac. You should use Mary P's husband to find you car if you have the cash to buy wholesale... I do not know her or her husband but what a great opportunity to save money.. Good Luck

Don't forget about the Kia's - good on gas mileage and so many safety features that my insurance did not go up when I bought a new car. The KIA also did #1 in safety on the recent crash test studies as safest car with all the airbags - so many people are hit in the side and hit their heads on the window and die from head injuries - the side air bags prevent that. Ask fo Bill at SW KIA in Dallas on I20 and tell them C. S from Waxahachie sent you. Great thing is - if you send a referral - they pay your car payment! Can't beat that!
And good for you returning to college - I also did that at TCC seven years ago and what a wonderful feeling it is to accomplish such a hardy goal. Stay focused on the end and don't stop no matter how difficult the time is to do it. Good for you!
