I have been having sharp pains on my right lower side right above my pelvis bone and in the back on the right side as well. The pain will come and go like every 3-5 minutes. And when the pain does come, I feel like I have to vomit! I have never felt this kind of pain before in this area! I am not sure what it is, but I would like for anybody to help me out with some kind of information regarding this!

What can I do next?

many many possibilites, could be appendix, could be gallbladder, could be constipation, could be gas, could be..... if the pain is severe, go to a physician asap, they will prob do some bloodwork and an u/s to rule out anything serious. hope you are feeling better soon :)

additionally, are you/could you be pregnant? also could be symptoms of a rupturing ectopic pregnancy or even an ovarian cyst...

To tell if it's your appendix you press in deep and then let go as fast as you can. If you're blinded from the pain when you let go (rebound pain... it hurts worse when you suddenly let g than when you're pressing) it's your appendix and you need to get to the ER immediately.

OTW call you doc and go find out what's wrong.

Sounds like a kidney stone, possibly. They fix those with a lazer now, if they have to do any intervention at all. Mostly they give you a pain shot. Go to the ER and find out though. Be pain free for a few hours.

I have had both an ectopic pregnancy and appendicitis. They both hurt insanely but I don't remember the appendix hurting in the back. Try the rebound pain test that someone else mentioned, that's definitely a sign of appendicitis. You don't want to mess with either a fallopian tube or the appendix rupturing so seek care ASAP.

Could be kidney stones? Talk to dr asap or go to emergency room if they continue. Kidney stone pains start by coming and going. My husband went thru this. Mentioning your back makes me worry about kidneys.
