My stylist is Karen Kent at Chazio ###-###-####) in Lake in the Hills. The corner of Algonquin and Randall Roads. She is the best! I have been going to her, believe it or not, for over 25 years! I am 42 and she is 45. I have followed her from Streamwood to Hoffman to LITH. And along the way I did try some other people--and ended back with her to fix the problems. She is amazing at color, I have blonde highlights, and she really knows what she is doing when she cuts hair based on hair type and style. Plus, she is great to talk to. We didn't know each other before she started cutting my hair, so she is my stylist and someone I feel so comfortable talking to about life! She has 3 kids, 2 boys and a girl. The oldest is just out of high school and the other 2 in highschool. She isn't over the top expensive(like downtown Chicago), but not super cheep. Good luck. I think she would be a great fit for you.

I have been going to Hip Salon in Schaumburg for over a year now and am very happy with them. I see Michelle for the cut and Julia for color.

Hi,
I go to the LifeSpa Salon, part of Lifetime Gym in Algonquin.
I see a stylist by the name of Meghan and I have for about 4 years now. I need to do color since I want to remain blonde, and she mixes up a very beautiful shade for me to maintain. She recertifies herself in coloring often. She is good at the long and the short hairstyles. Seems to run me about $100 for both color and cut/style.
I know there is also a stylist there named Camilla who specializes in the short brunette styles.
BTW, there is a great eyebrow wax girl there named Sandy!

Hi! I totally agree, have done the same. I will tell you that there is A Super Cuts in Crystal Lake by the Toys R Us next to the Subway. On a fluke I went there and got Bridget. She is really, really good. I now have her cut my daughter's hair (she is 6) as well. Very knowledgeable and does a great, great job. She is the best stylist I have ever had (and I had her cut my hair short and do a great color job as well). Good luck!

I highly recommend Tiffany at Hair Cuttery in Crystal Lake. She has an up-to-date hairstyle herself and is very good at cutting up-to-date hair. She was at the Woodstock one when I found her and was told by them that she went to the CL store. It's affordable, which helps also.
