Anyone Tried Making Money with Taskrabbit?

Hi everyone,

I am looking into flexible work options and was wondering if anyone had tried being a Taskrabbit? It's a website where you can do tasks for people and get paid. I want something flexible that I can do when my kids are in school. If you've tried this or know of any other similar things please let me know.

Also, PLEASE don't contact me with work from home sales opportunities, I really don't want to do anything that involves selling, or trunk shows or anything.

Thanks!

What can I do next?

My red flags always go up on something like this. Just beware. If they want any investment, run .

I work from home with our company ( non MLM direct sales) but its something we've been in for years ( raw materials/consulting) My job fell in my lap as we developed our company.

Are you qualified to tutor, plan events, substitute teach, etc?

Even tho we own our company and I am the CFO, I still substitute 1-2 days a week just to have multiple income streams. I love teaching, hardly any $$ in it but I stay engaged with the business world and educational world.

Think outside the box!!!

Good luck

ETA: Note I added info after 2 flowers were here so take that into consideration. I've read your responses and why would you sign up to run errands for people when you could just do it on your own and make 100% of the profits? I've seen minivans in my area that were errand services. Even if you sign up with a service, are you still using your car, your gas, your wear and tear on your car? Make sure you get all the fine print. Sounds too good to be true and too easy to be able to do this on your own.

If you have time to run errands for people, how about advertising on Craigslist instead of paying to join Taskrabbit? You cut out the middle man...

I have hired Taskrabbits to run errands and do jobs for me and think it's a pretty cool thing. I'd say go for it. Just be sure to ask smart questions before bidding on a job. You don't want the job to be worth more than what you bid. Good luck!
