Has anyone else had trouble joining a MOMS club? They told me I couldn't join unless I started a chapter?!! I live in the Southwest Arlington area... apparently I'm not allowed to join the "South Arlington" chapter
I ended up joining the Arlington Mommy Meetup Group (meetup.com). I met a wonderful group of ladies, some of who will be life long friends. The MOM's group in S.Arlington finally let me in, but by then I had already found AMMG and they were more my style -- not that the ladies in the MOM's group weren't wonderful women.
It depends where you live, because there are different groups for different locations. It's more convenient to be closer anyway.
That does sound more than a little strange. I am on the board for Arlington Mothers of Multiples & I am also a member of the Arlington Mommy Meetup. Let me know if you'd like more information about either group!

I am not in any Mom's clubs but I have a friend who is in the Mansfield Mom's club and LOVES it. She actually moved to Flower Mound over a year ago and still drives over here to participate in it. I don't know any info on it but if you are interested I can get the info from her.
I don't know about MOMs Clubs but Hope church(I-30 and Beach) offers a great Mom's group (pregnancy through preschool) every Tuesday from 10:30-12:00, childcare provided. Hope this is helpful.
