I am looking for other moms that stay home with their children. I'm missing adult conversation, any mom and kids play dates? Maybe coffee? Park with the kids? Zoo? Suggestions?
Checked into the meetup.com site... found a group.. just seems so judgemental... So not sure if i will pick that one group.. but have found a lot out there.. THANK YOU ALL! Also, hope to meet one of the moms at a park near our house! Take Care!

You can trying going to Imagination Avenue (www.imaginationavenue.us), it is located at 32nd & Shea which should be not to far from you. Lot's of moms go there and there are postings of mom groups/clubs.

Hi T.....looks like you posted this quite a while ago....Not sure if you still live close or not...I am in the same area...I have a 9 year old son. I do have a full time day job, but I would still like to find some adult conversation!!! I will be 30 on 2/26. I'm not in a moms group but I do live in that area and one idea of meeting other moms is signing your kids up for activities. Like buzy bodies or tumbling or even sports(if they are interested. When my son was 2.5 we signed him up for soccer at the sports complex near waterworld(we live down the street) they have some mid week classes too and we meet some really good friends that have a son his age. Programs like this(if in your budget) are also good for meeting other stay at home parents. I want to try imagination ave but its kinda far. there aren't many fun places this north without a drive.
