I received alot of help about my medication questions and concerns. I am still a little stressed, My 7 year old is on a new medication for her ADHD called vyvanse, we tried adderall xr, so far this is a LITTLE bit better. Its only her 5th day on it. So i was just curious if any other children have been on it, good or bad response?? Thanks!!

What can I do next?

Hi there M.!! My 10 year old was diagnosed a year ago and they started him on Concerta. This took a toll on his body. They switched him to Vyvanse about 6 months ago, and WE LOVE IT!! It last longer, and the side effects seem much better!! I also love how the company provides tons of tools on the web to support you as well.
Also, what area do you live in? I am starting a CHADD Satalite location in Frisco for families with children with ADD. I would love to send you info once we begin our support groups.

My son is on vyvanse and I like this one cause he was on ritlin and focolin and I really didn't like it at all.The ririlin really didn't help for nothing in the world.

My response is a little late but my sons has been on Vyvanse for about 6 months and WE LOVE IT. BIG difference from when he was on Concerta. No problems at school since he's been on it and he focuses a lot better.

My 10 yr old daughter is currently on Vyvanse. We are having good results. In the past she has taken Ritalin, Straterra, Concerta, and Daytrana all with short term success and then each caused an increase in violent outbursts. I take Concerta for ADD and my 11 son takes Concerta and those work for us.
