I have these huge pimples on my face. They are close to my chin and chin line. They are not "whiteheads", but red, painful bumps. They are much worse around my cycle. I noticed the other day that I have a few popping up around odd places on my body, like my shoulder, back and under by boob. I am 32 years old and I am using clinique skin care. They seem to be a little worse since using this, but when I was younger, CLinique worked. Any ideas on how to treat it or what is causing it?

What can I do next?

If it seems to be a little worse when using a certain product, switch products.
It could be the formula changed from when you were younger or your body chemistry has changed so that it no longer works like it use to.
As we get older the estrogen balance changes and we tend to get little hairs popping up where we never had them before.
It's nothing a little plucking can't fix.
If you think 32 is 'fun', wait till you're 50.
My face it still very oily (always has been) but now I've got the peeling skin around my nose bridge and eyebrows (just like my Mom had when she was this age).
Try different little samplers till you find a product that works best for you now.
Every couple years you'll probably have to do it all over again.

You could be developing an allergy. Or maybe they changed formulas or ingredients. Try another product. Eliminate everything you are currently using, then add in one new product at a time. Use for a week or two and see what happens. But don't start anything new until what you have clears up. These are just suggestions. If it gets worse or doesn't clear up with changes, see a dermatologist.

These require a trip to the dermatologist for an antibiotic. Some Keflex or something will clear them up. If they continue to come back, your dermatologist will probably consider Accutane, which should permanently take care of it.

It's possible it's not acne, you need to get to a Dermatologist, if you don't have the $$$ or insurance to do so, get to the local Health Dept..

I hope you get it under control soon it sounds uncomfortable. :(
