Six flags has a mommy and me room in the Wiggles area. Contact the park and find out what they have and where it is located. If by chance they don't have one bring a light baby blanket and drape and feed on a bench or wherever....you don't have to go to a hot car and try to get comfortable to breast feed in a windowed car in a parking lot.

I don't know which Sea World you are planning to go to, but we went to the one in San Antonio last year. I don't know if they had a special place for breastfeeding mothers or not (but I would bet they do--call and ask). But off of the top of my head I can think of several areas that would make it a little easier to nurse your baby more discretely. Both the shark tank display and the penguin display are dark and cool. They both were busy with people, but with it being dark I think that it would be very easy to nurse and no one would know what you are doing. There are benches that line the walls in both of these areas and you can sit back and nurse while you watch your three year old enjoy the displays. Some of the indoor eating facilities would work too, during hours that aren't normal meal times. The indoor ones will be air conditioned and while they might not be completely empty there won't be too many people around and you could sit at a table in a corner or at the edge of the room that is more private. I think that it will be way more easy to find a private area (that isn't in a bathroom stall) to breastfeed than it would be to have to juggle using bottles and pumps and all the stuff that goes along with it. Whatever you decide HAVE FUN. We loved Sea World last year. Our daughters were 3 and 5 and they are still talking about it a year later.

Most amusement parks have special rooms for nursing moms and some may have a little play area for your 3 yr old. Just ask when you go in where they are and get a map. We used one that was perfect as they even had an eating table and high chairs for my other child and the air conditioner felt so good. Your 3 yr old might need a break to from all the noise and commotion. I bottle fed by the time I went to the park but I still enjoyed a nice quiet space to relax and hold my baby.

If you don't have a problem nursing in public, then just find a bench when she gets hungry. :) If you don't already have one you should invest in a good nursing cover. I like the baby au lait brand because you can see the baby while you are nursing, but she's hidden from the public view. We went to an amusement park when my son was still nursing and I remember nursing him on a bench. To be honest, I'm not sure I even had a nursing cover at that time, but it went fine. Didn't get any strange looks or anything.

Disney world had beautiful mother's rooms. They were air conditioned and had everything you needed. Hopefully sea world is the same :)

You will be surprised at how many moms you will be nursing in the parks. We just came back from Disney and nursed (discretely) everywhere. I have a "hooter hider" cover and nobody seemed to care or notice wherever we were. Many parks have baby rooms, but they are far apart. I really think bottles make the vacation much more of a hassle. You have to worry about cleaning them, keeping them cold or warming them up, carrying all the extra gear, etc. There is some great nursing clothing available too (www.motherwear.com) if that makes you more comfortable. I find that during the sit-down shows is a great place to nurse because it's usually covered and cooler, sometimes dark, and everyone is watching the show and not you. Enjoy!!!

Just feed her. Buy a shawl or some sort of bf cover and find a cool spot to sit. For all anyone will know, she's just sleeping and if they give you odd stares, then that's their problem. Don't inconvenience yourself...enjoy your trip :)

I would find out if they have a Mother's Room. Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm both have rooms with rocking chairs that are behind curtains where you can nurse discreetly. I alway use my boppy when nursing so I placed it in the basket under my stroller and when I needed to nurse my then 7 month old daughter I went to this room boppy in hand.

Disneyland's room is great. It has everything you could possibly need for a baby.

Or I would just get a cover and nurse in public. No one will see anything and anyone with a problem with it needs to get a life.

But if you are more comfortable with the pumping and feeding with a bottle, I would start a few weeks ahead so that she is not confronted by all these new and different situations at once. If you do it this way, you still run into the problem of not being about to express the milk in a timely way while you are in the park.

I would just bring a scarf or a light-weight blanket, find a nice bench or picnic table in the shade, and nurse there with the baby covered.

start offering the bottle now, but have daddy do it so the breast is not right there. If you want to use breast milk pump in advance as much as you can. My boys both took both breast and formula with no problem, but they had gotten both from birth. If you choose to breast feed at the park you do not have to go to the car, just get one of those blankets that snaps around your neck to create a privacy screen.

I have to agree with the other moms who have said, 'Just feed her!'.

My main concern while feeding my son in public wasn't that my breast was out, it was that anyone walking by might see my stretch marked belly skin. I wore breast feeding tank tops under everything... I felt that they covered a bit more skin, and I could lift up a t-shirt and kind of drape it over the top of my breast while my belly was being covered up as well... basically the only thing NOT covered was IN baby's mouth!

Trust me, you have much more important things to think about during this exciting trip than pumping and taking time out away from your 3 year old to feed your baby - enjoy every moment, and DEFINITELY take advantage of the convenience of food on-demand... this is the only time 'convenience food' is actually safer and healthier!

I breastfed on demand everywhere anytime. why can't you just bf her where ever you are. that is one of the best things about breastfeeding its always available no mixing, no pourinh, no fumbling w/ bottles. get some button shirts and a good carrier/sling/wrap and you can nurse hands free and no one will know.

Sit down on a bench and feed her! If you are modest, get one of the many covers they make for breastfeeding moms, and no one will see anything.

Just find a bench and nurse her!! I have nursed babies on an airplane, amusemnent parks, concerts, movie theater etc... Just wear clothing that is easy to nurse in. Bottles are SO NOT EASIER!!! If it would make you feel better use a nursing cover or a blaket. Have a great time!
