Advice for Big Girl Bed - Twin with Trundle or Full Size Bed?

My daughter is going to be going in to her "Big Girl Bed" in a few months and I'm torn between getting her a twin bed with a trundle or a full size bed. Any recomendations or stories of experience would be helpful. Her room is 10x12 so both should fit in there fine.

What can I do next?

My Daughter has a full size bed (She is three). She went from a crib to the full size without a problem. It makes it nice when she has cousins or friends spend the night. Also it can grow with her without a problem. Her room is 14x14 so she still has plenty of floor space to play.

Our daughter has always had a Queen. I would have it no other way. Her room is 13 x 16 so she has plenty of room.

We also have 3 guest rooms with trundle beds which have come in handy with sleepovers and things like that. We use the trundles as a sofa bed in the game room and Wii game room and I love it.

In the begining, we did not use a frame with her bed, after she was used to it and did not roll off, we put it on a frame, and now at 14 it is on a huge frame and site up high. She loves her bed.

Best wishes! They grow up TOO fast.

We got my son a full when he went to a big boy bed. Loved it. plus, at night i got to lay with him to read him books, etc. My daughter just got into her big girl bed. She shares a room with a baby crib since we are expecting so we bought her a twin trundle. If we had more room I would of gotten a full any day over a twin/trundle. I don't like it near as much and can never lay with her if I need to.

I wish I had bought a full bed for my son instead of a twin.

We chose the trundle bed route with my children. My daughter's bed was very "frilly" and a pain to make everyday. So every night we would simply pull the trundle out, she would sleep, and I would pull up the sheet and push the bed under in the morning. So easy! Her trundle was one that would pop up to make a king size bed if we had overnight guests. My son's bunkbed trundle was a framed box that was perfect without the mattress for his Brio trains to remain set up, when he was older he designed an electric train set for the trundle.
