Check out Craig's List - you can shop locally and not pay shipping like Ebay. I have twin girls and actually met a mom/friend with twin girls 6 month older than mine so I buy clothes from her regularly now! The MOM to MOM sales are a great deal also, I sell yearly and buy alot !! Good luck!

I don't know where you live, but the Salvation Army store on Van Dyke, just north of Hall Road in Utica has great clothes at great prices. They frequently run a 5 for $5 sales according to a particular color tag. On those weeks, I only look ofr that particlar color tag and no others. It is the best Salv Army store I have found.

I think resale shops are a rip off. You can find better deals at rummage sales - where you fill a bag for $3.00 verses paying $3.oo for a pair of shorts. And sometimes The Children's Place has great sales for $1.99 and even $0.99 for great quality clothing brand new!

There's also a resale store called Cutie Patootie at 23 & Card in Macomb Twp. I've heard it's great. Also, Carter's Outlet at Birch Run has good deals. We just got our nephew a 3T polo for $4.

Check out a mom-to-mom sale in your area. Today I'm going to one at Duncan Elementary at 26 Mile Road.

Also look on Ebay for clothes listed in a bundle or lot. Search for example: boys, 3t, lot, Gap. You'll find some of the better clothes if you use a well known name brand. I've purchased some very nice, gently used items for $1-2 including shipping charges.

Also, as the weather gets warmer there will be plenty of people having garage sales.

Look for someone in your area that you can exchange clothes. I had a friend from our church that I gave her my daughters clothes (she's 6) and she gave me her son's clothes as he outgrew them (including shoes). It has worked out really well for us and we continue to share.

I don't know about a resale shop; however there are plenty of garage sales starting up that are cheaper than most resale shops. There is a huge one going on today at Brentwood Farms -off of 22 Mile rd. btw Romeo Plank & Garfield. Good Luck!

Meijer has really cute boy separates, I bought them last year and loved them and was so glad they have them again. They were $3 apiece the other day, then when I went back they were buy one, get one half off. They're little stretchy shorts, tanks and t-shirts.

Have you tried Mom2Mom sales, church resale shops, or sale times at the Salvation Army or other thrift stores? Garage sales are good too - sometimes they advertise in the paper what size clothes the have. G. B.
