20 Year High School Reunion Coming Up!

Hi all moms. My 20 year reunion will be this Oct. I can't believe it.

I started late - so I am a new mom to a 9 mos old. I am lucky the weight came off, but the sleep deprivation has taken its toll!

I'd love some recommendations on how to get rid of puffy eyes/dark circles. UGH. No crow's feet yet - BUT - I do look tired.

Also - any recommendations on softening that line in between my eyebrows? No Botox for me. I'd love to hear from moms that have actually used products/methods they found worked.

Thanks everyone!

Hi G.- I have used the tucks pad too. They do work for puffy but not for lines and crow feet. The best eye products I have used where I have seen results are: StriVectin, Philosophy, and most expensively Skin Medica TNS eye cream. The SriVectin works very well, you actually feel it tingle and best of all, you can buy the cream for the body. As long as you dont have any issues with scented creams. Philosphy is very good too. The skin medica line you can only get at certain derm offices or physician offices that do botox and what not. I had to go to their website to find the closest office to me.

Good luck!

I used to use Tucks medicated hemroid pads for the puffiness around the eyes when I'd model. Hey, a billion super models can't be wrong, right? HAVE FUN!

I have been taking customized supplements for 6 months now and so much has improved. Not only has my overall health improved, providing me with more energy, better sleep, improved nails/hair and skin, but most importantly my digestion has significantly improved. I used to have difficulty eliminating, experience bouts of diarrhea (sp?) and horribly debilitating stomach pains. Now in addition to my allergies disappearing, I no longer have the stomach issues.

In response to your question about the tiredness under the eyes, these customized supplements have helped people with this too. My father-in-law had very dark circles under his eyes and after starting on the supplements, they were significantly less.

Let me know if you are interested because I am happy to mail out a sample pack to you.

hi G.,
reunions can be intimating but everyone else is thinking the same thing so relax. if you have stayed in touch with anyone give them a call and plan to go together. as far a the eye puffiness i use arbonne. they are the most fabulous products on the market. pure safe and beneficail... the nice thing about the company is we encourage people to try the products before you buy. as far as the brow line we have a new better than botox pen that helps tighten brow lines and crows feet. it reacts on the elastin and collegen in your skin and really works. check out my website www.myurbeautiful.myarbonne.com email me and i'll send out a free sample. thanks K. d

I used a product for my undereye dark circles. The brand is "Pout" and it is a yellow cream that you spread under your eyes. It works great!! It's a little pricy, $25.00 for the tube but I found it worth it!
It's on www.sephoria.com. Good luck and congrats on the reunion, and your baby!

Hi G.! I am sure you look better than you think, you are your own worst critic! Anyway I see you have already received a few responses from Arbonne Consultants which I am also. I would happy to come drop off our revolutionary anti-aging skin care system to your home. You can try it for a few days and let me know what you think. YES! you will see results in a few days. I also have an upcoming sale and products will be available at price unheard of! Talk to you soon!

Hi G.!

Sounds like alot of fun!!! I am an independent consultant with The Body Shop At Home. All of our products are vegetarian. I highly suggest either the vitamin e eye cream, which I have tried and no more crow's feet!...or the kinetin eye treatment is also alot of my customer's favorite.

Another line that we just came out with is our new sleep line. Let me tell you, I am always waking up atleast 5 times a night and since I started using the pillow spray I have been hardly waking up during the night. Combine this with whatever you choose to use on your face, as it sounds as if there are lots of great products out there, and I bet you will see and feel a difference, as I have.

Feel free to check out my website: www.thebodyshopathome.com/web/jcolecchi or give me a call at ###-###-#### if you have any further questions that I can help you with!

Good Luck on whatever route you decide to go and have LOTS of fun!

I Have heard Strivectin is incredible. I think that Sephora carries it, but I could be totally wrong. I should be taking my own advice!! Have fun at your reunion!

Hey G.,
There is no such thing as starting late! You are still a young mom! There are some things you can do without chemicals, however a gel eyecream will really help with the dark circles. Before you start to use is it you need to exfoliate. The dead skin that we unnoticeably shed collects in our wrinkles. I like to combine my cleanser (eye or face, depending on the area) with some fine cornmeal in the palm of my hand. Small circular movements work well. Also, make some tea (preferably black) with 2 tea bags and once a bit cooled off, squeeze out excess water and lie back with them on each of your eyes (for as long as possible!). This will really help with puffy eyes.

I hope this helps! Of course, sleep is the best thing for us moms! And a good makeover may help since you haven't seen your classmates in 20 years. If you are in my area and are interested let me know. It can be a fun thing for you and your friends from HS before you all leave! I have plenty of references too.
