Hello all! I am a single mom and I work at a daycare center. I spend 8 hours a day here and rarely get to see my daughter except for in the halls and when we get home and thats usually only for 4 hours. I really want a job to where I can work at home and still make enough money to support us. If anyone knows of any stay at home jobs I would really apreciate it! Thanks :) Edit: Thanks for suggesting the at home daycare but I live in a very small apartment upstairs and I really don't think that it would work out.

I recently ended 20 years of working in salons to opening a salon in my home. I have lost a lot of clients and unless you have the disposable income to run it....don't do it. I can't afford the $3,000 to buy a complete color line so my clients are forced to book ahead so I can go buy their color. It seems like every $ I make goes right back into buying products and supplies. I have recently made the salon for haircuts only so I can actually make some money. It is also impossible to stop in the middle of a chemical service to tend to the 4 year old. So it's haircuts only now. I lost all of my color clients though and am not bringing in as much money.

I have no idea, so sorry! You could maybe start an in home day care with a few children given your experience.

I was actually considering working at a day care myself, so that I could bring my 2 kids!

Have you considered running your own day care? NOT easy but it can be done. If you want to become licensed it relatively easy, it's just govermental rherotric stuff to go through.

unfortunately, work at home jobs are not the same as work outside the home jobs. Part of what you trade off to be able to stay home and reduce the expenses of daycare, gas for your car to drive to work, etc is that you give up hourly pay. there ARE work from home jobs, and they CAN replace an income, but i would say on average they take about 1-2 years to really replace a full time income if you are really working at it.

I work from home and i really enjoy it, but again, its not a get rich quick thing. it is something that you could start and start to build and slowly cut down your hours at work to spend more time with your daughter though and eventually replace your income.

the website you want to check out is http://www.PerfectWorkForMoms.com if you want to check it out at all.

Have you heard of Mona Vie? It is a health juice that provides a world of benefits. My husband and I drink this wonderful juice ourselves and feel so much better for it. Sleep, joint pain and energy as well. Since starting this product, we have become distributors for Mona Vie. http://r3gteam.com/
We believe in this product so much that we are sharing our story with others and gettin them on it as well. In the process, we are making money. It is the #1 all natural health juice. It isn't sold in stores, it's only through social networking that this is done. When you have some time, take a look at the site and look at the 2 links to the right, Essence of Mona Vie and the flip chart. You can explore the products under the red Mona Vie tab. You can learn how to get this product and make money if you are interested.
I am a stay home mom as well. I was working a temp job that just wasn't concrete for me, I needed something that I could do that was for sure. We had a friend invite us to a tasting and we heard all about Mona Vie and the benefits and how we can make money. We have been in this business for 1 month now, and already make money. It's a wonderful company that wants everyone to succeed and make money that they offer incentives all the time. My husband told me not to look for a job anymore that I would be working on Mona Vie, talking to people and sharing our experiences with.
If you are interested, let me know. Take care and God Bless!
