Hi ladies, I was wondering if any of you know of a good stay at home job that I can get. I have two kids so I don't want any babysitting.Anything else please write. I just get so tired of staying home and doing nothing. Now with both kids starting school I won't have anything to do in the mornings. Thanks a lot to all that give suggestions.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Well I finally decide to sell avon, and I really love it. It gives me all the time I need to be with my family, but yet I'm still making money. Not as much as if I were working 8 to 5. but that's because this is the way I want it. I want to be there for my family.I'm really excited now that I get a little extra cash for my kids and myself. I don't feel like I depend completely on my husbands income. I recommend all you stay at home moms do this. Go to my web page if you want more info or want to buy avon. www.youravon.com/aracelilopez.

I've been working from home for several months now & I love it! I work for a company called West & basically I field calls & take orders for all the 800 #'s you see on tv selling everything from diet pills to health insurance.

Best of all is that these 800#'s are open 24/7 & you pick your own schedule. If you can't work a shift you've selected, you have up to 24 hours to delete it. Before school started I worked from 6 am - 9 am & now I'm working 10 am - 1 pm. It's all up to you, take as many or as little shifts as you want.

All you need to start is:

A fast internet connection (Cable or better, a decent computer with Windows XP or better, A dedicated land line - with NO features, a noise reducing headset for your phone, & a quiet working space with a door that closes.

I get paid .17 to .35 cents per min of actual talk time, the checks are always on time, & I'm an independant contractor so I'm in charge of paying my own taxes out of my earnings. I currently am doing it to supplement my husbands income for a few extras here and there, but I do have friends that support themselves doing this job. I'm bringing in an extra $600 a month (before taxes) for my family doing this job & I can't rave enough about it.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post websites so if anyone is interested in signing up or learning about it please contact me. You are required to do a background check, but West pays for it - there is no out of pocket expense for this job unless you don't already have the things I listed above (headset, etc).

Hi Chely,

I am a SAHM of 4 kids 2 are in school 2 are still my babies for alittle while longer! I used to babysit but then people thought I loved it so much I wanted to do it for free. Not likely!
If you have a computer and a camera you might want to look into ebay. I found joy in the childrens clothing and accessories of ebay. Its pretty overwhelming at first but I got a book for chirstmas called "Starting and ebay business for Dummies" By Marsha Collier and it helped explain everything and I just tried it i started by selling my kids used clothing that was till in good shape and I bought used clothing for my kids there too. Then I started seriously selling polymer clay bracelets for children (a hobby I had) in January and made $100 and then someone my husband met at his work heard what I do and asked if I would sell stuff for him and that made us $1300.00 last month!! I like that I can control what I sell. Ebay has a lot of free tools like you get free USPS Priority mail boxes to ship with. I learned that I could print shipping labels at home and put the packages outside and my mail carrier picks them up so no standing in lines at the post office! On top of that I just learned that you can also take a course endorsed by ebay for $150 and then you can be a certified ebay consultant and people in your area can hire you to teach them how to buy and sell on ebay. I haven't done that yet but I thought it would be a great part time job that I could do in person or over the phone so I still won't have to find a sitter for my 2 youngest kids. Well I don't know if it will work for you and your lifestyle but it has for me and its nice to contribute financially as well as being there for my family. The hard thing is not spending all of your profits...that's why Avon didn't work for me. I still have lip gloss for years to come!:-)
Well I hope I have helped give you something to think about!
Good luck with your work at home!!
Blessings:-)
Lizett

Chely,
I have been a stay at home mom for nearly 13 years now and have tried a few at home businesses; House of Lloyd (Christmas Around The World), Avon, and Primerica Financial Services. All have had their own benefits, and valuable life lessons learned. What are you looking for? What would make you feel like you're successful? Are you motivated by the social aspect of working, the idea of helping others, or are you looking mostly for something that will earn $$?

When I worked for House of Lloyd, a home party business, I loved the social aspect of it and I bought gifts at discounted prices, but I never made any real money and after a few years I felt inundated with "stuff". Same with Avon, but it was easy. When I worked with Primerica I felt like I was really "doing something" important for middle income families like myself, and I made good money. I gave it up though because I realized I'm not very good at setting aside "office time" in the middle of family time and that bothered me. I wanted to be able to give more to my clients.
My best suggestion; if there is something you really have a passion for, find a way to grow that love within yourself. Volunteer, or mentor, take a class or teach one.
I hope this has given you something to think about. Whatever you decide, remember that your role as a wife and mother is precious and you are appreciated.

Sincerely, C. T

Not sure if you are still looking, but thoguht I would drop you a line...I stay home and homeschool my 3 kids (ages 8, 6 and 3), I work around their schedule selling Mary Kay and I LOVE it! I worked 5-10 hours a week in the beginning, and was bringing home about $1000 to $2000 per month. I have since moved up into management, and make $2000 to $5000 per month working about 20 hours a week. I would love to talk to you more, I am home schooling in the mornings...###-###-#### is my # at home.

Chely;

Heidi and I tried a few different businesses from home, but have finally found one that works for both of us. In fact, she has been able to go from full-time to part-time at her conventional job. We got into the Affiliated Marketing thing.

Once we realized what a powerful tool we had -- it began to really make sense. We represent millions of products through hundreds of reputable stores (Circuit City, Barnes and Noble, Ace Hardware etc, etc.). With the group we got in with, we only had to sally up about 130.00 to get started and were profitable from the first month. It's not a get rich quick scheme... but over the last 1.5 years it has grown with admittedly little help from me.

If you want more info - drop a line. I can honenstly show you this thing in like 10 minutes over the web and on the phone.
