Hi! I have two options for you. The first is Seconds & Surplus. There are 2 locations :909 Regal Row in Dallas###-###-####) and 124 E. Arapho in Richardson###-###-####). You can save 50-90% on cabinets, countertops(laminate, granite, Corain etc.) flooring (laminate, hardwood, tile), plumbing fixtures (toilets, faucets, sinks, etc) Hardware (for cabinets, doors,etc.)moulding.
An option for used items is the Habitat for Humanity Resale store.

• Dallas Store
2800 N. Hampton Rd
Mon-Sat, 8am-7pm
phone: ###-###-####
• Garland Store
451 W. Interstate 30
Mon-Sat, 8am-7pm
phone: ###-###-####
The items they have are hit and miss - kinda like garage sales. Sometimes the trip is worthless othertimes you may find a treasure.

Hope this helps!

There is a Habitat for Humanity store that sells donated items that can't be used for the projects going on at that time... or overstock I guess. You can find some info here http://www.trinityhabitat.org/restore/index.html We once purchased a garden tub (no jets, but it was huge) for $150. They are willing to negotiate with some items. Worth a look!

P.S. This is for the Fort Worth Habitat... I believe each chapter has a restore, if this isn't close to you google your county name and Habitat for Humanity Restore.

you an go to FreeCycle.org and find a community near you. When you find the one in your community you join the Yahoo Group and members post what they have and what they want. You could post specific things you are looking for and perhaps get a match. I have picked up several items for free. Also check with Local cabinet shops, refinishers and such. sometimes they have overstock, or unclaimed items that they will part with for little to no money.
Good luck with the renovating. Happy New Year and God Bless.

We remodeled our house and got all cabinets and countertops at builders surplus. It is in Haltom City. They have a great stock of new stuff but at wholesale prices.
