I have one of those nice patio swings that 2 adults can sit in. it had nice cushions and a nice awning over it. I have replaced the cushions with some I got at a yard sale but the top/canopy is shredding and so dirty. where can I get a new one that I can just get without replacing the whole swing?preferably not super expensive. but there is nothing on the kmart or target or walmart websites for replacing the top pc. thanks
You can try awnngs for windows, the ones they make out of cloth. I had gotten a quote for our home and the large one would have been about $50. You could also get some upholstery material and pretreat with waterproof spray then put it on yourself since you have the frame. Otherwise, get the anme of manufacturers of the swings and call them.
I've got the same problem, and I've been thinking it will have to be a custom job.
I had the same problem and after months of research, determined that having a custom one made is the only option and the quotes that I had were 3x the cost of a whole new swing. If you find another answer, I'd be curious to hear about it!
My husband works at place that can do custom work like you are wanting - however, they have told people it is cheaper to buy an entire new swing than replace with a custom top. If you are interested he works at Brumleve Industries in Teutopolis, Illinois
