My toddler will be moving into a Toddler bed in the next six months and i was thinking of buying a day/night video monitor for her room to see what she is doing at night.

Does any moms out there reccomend any one in particular.

What can I do next?

I recently bought the "Summer" one and I love it. I bought it on e-bay, brand new, in box for less than $100 (with shipping). I saw them today at Babies R Us for $169.99.

This is the one I bought. We have been using it for two years and we love it. It does get static a bit when using the cordless phone, but not bad enough to quit using it. It is incredibly sensitive, to the point I can hear my son breathing, which I love.

I LOVE this video monitor. I got it when my daughter was about 12 months and my mother kept going in to check on her when she was just fussing about going to bed. This way she didn't think Gran's house was the place to throw a fit at bed time in order to get to stay up later. I wish I had it from the very beginning - no interference and great color (during the day). Also very easy set up. http://www.amazon.com/BébéSounds-Panel-Color-Video-Monito...

don't know of a video monitor, but just telling you what i did when my three boys went to big boys beds. I had the toys in their rooms and had the child safe locks on their on doors. On their beds I put the fisher price gate so they won't fall off and when they would wake up they would just play in the their rooms until i would let them out or they was ready to get out. It gets prepared to play independently in the future and not always with other kids.
